I was looking for a rug because my dog would keep slipping trying to jump on/off my bed. I chose this product cause it has the rubber bottom. I kinda wish it was a little longer and little thicker, but I'm satisfied so far. It doesn't slide as he jumps up and down, or when you walk on it. I’m adding this portion about 2 months after the purchase: My dog had an accident on this rug so I ran it in the washer. I was very surprised even after drying it, it came out in perfect shape. I bought this item because the other mat I had bought previously was not large enough to cover my apartment's entryway space. The design is very pretty, and I'm very happy with that. I haven't cleaned it yet as it hasn't become dirty, but, compared to the other mat I used for entryway, this one seems softer and a little fluffier.
