The roller height is not adjustable and is between the two standard sizes typically used by die manufacturers. This means that some material must be “sacrificed” to get a successful cut with leather or anything thicker than paper.

I've used many die cutting machines over the years and the unique design of the storage box is something I've never seen before. It's very compact and comes with a full range of accessories to allow me to create all kinds of creations. I really love this machine!

While this machine is sturdy and it folds up compactly, it doesn’t cut or emboss without a whole lot of effort. The rollers don’t provide enough pressure to cut through the paper with the provided plates. I have a couple of die cutting machines and so I have a variety of plates at my disposal. After much experimentation and frustration, I had to use a combination a couple of the plates that came with this machine along with one from another machine and the addition of a thick piece of cardstock to make my first successful cut. And I wasn’t able to cut anything using the included cutting dies. The embossing folder was a joke too and barely made an impression. I can’t recommend this machine, it doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do, with the items provided, and there are much better ones available at a very similar price.

I'm always looking for ways to feed the creative side of my brain and this well-built machine is a buffet! - SO sturdy! - heavy and secure so turning the roller doesn't end up shifting the machine. - Once I figured out the embossing process, I was hooked !!! - and my Christmas wish-list is full of embossing folders because this is a whole new layer of crafting and card making! :-) - The cardstock papers are full sized and good quality (they looked so small in the listing picture). - The silicone stamps are likewise a good quality and a very nice selection. - LOVE the die cut! - it steps in for a cut where my Cricut can't; after a partial card design needs a precision cut in a particular place - this works SUPER well. - Love the little built-in drawer which holds all the plastic sheets, die cuts, embossing folder and silicone stamps. Not a reflection of the machine, but I do wish the instructions were better - I had to google how other people use similar machines as there's not clear instructions on what purpose each of the 5 (3 different size) plastic sheets serve and how to layer them. I figured it out and am beyond thrilled with the result, but that could certainly be improved.

This is a HEFTY tool that feels very substantial, but is actually a waste of space. It comes with multiple plastic boards to create the right "height" to pass through the pressing chamber, but not enough of unique thicknesses requires you to triple or quad up on multiple flat boards. To use the die that came with the machine, I had to use 3 different boards to create the right thickness for it to still not cut well. The die itself went through the paper to leave an impression on the plastic boards, but it did not cut the paper. Dealing with multiple boards plus the paper plus the die was needlessly troublesome. The included embossing folder was hard to distinguish once embossed, but was easier to manage than the die itself. Neither the roller or the press are adjustable. I'd give this 1 star, but it is useable just needlessly troublesome for the price.

It’s definitely great to have the ability to make your own cards using this. You can even design it like you want it. The quality of it is worth the price and it’s at a decent size. Its functions are working exactly how it supposed too.
