  • Top quality. Reliable and tough. Easy to start.
Style: Tiller
Used to repair lawn where large stumps were ground. Area was 7500 Square feet. This tiller was up to the task. I had no interest in manuvering or storing a full size tiller, and this can hang on the wall. It was easy on my back. Changing tine direction allows for shallow or deep digging, used areator tines to scratch into existing grass to add seed and it worked out great. Now that I have it I will be fixing bad places all around I would have never fixed. I grab it for new plantings as it makes a great small hole as well. Far better than a shovel for an older person. ... show more

  • Mantis tiller 7924
Style: Tiller
Excellent product, gave it to my daughter for her birthday. She had no problem cranking it. Gave her a gallon of Stihl Moto Mix to go with it. She loves it.

  • Packs a punch
Style: Tiller
This little tiller packs a punch, it makes short work of job at hand.

  • It Works Great
Style: Tiller
Easy start, easy to work with. We have heavy clay soil and when it's dry it's as hard as a rock. This little tiller chews it right up and pulverizes it into almost like coffee grounds. Like the kick stand and carry handle too.

  • Nice Tool Gardening Tool
Style: Tiller
Perfect addition to my gardening implements. Good cultivator, lightweight, powerful, easy to maneuver, folds away for storage. However it is not very easy to start, even though I have the easy start engine. Overall pleased with the performance.

  • Great little tiller
Style: Tiller
Used for tilling in raised beds, weeding between rows & breaking up clods. Very well built with thick, heavy metal - makes it a little heavier than some competitors, but should be more durable. Very enthusiastic tiller that really chews stuff up - you should use some discretion with throttle control or it can get a little wild. Came promptly. Well packed. Assembled it in 30 min. without resorting to use of the vindictive (I tend to curse a lot when frustrated). Instructions state you will need 2- 7/16th wrenches. You will do better with one wrench & a ratchet with an extension. If you get the kickstand (you really should), you will also need a 3/8 in. wrench. Started easily out of the box. Worked most of the afternoon without a hiccup. Transport handle makes it easy to carry - no need for wheels. Appears to be a very good value. ... show more

  • Wonderful tiller/cultivator...love it! Highly recommended!
Style: Tiller
Product: The Mantis 7924 Fast Start Tiller is a great product. It is obvious that this product is strong and well built to last many years. After assembly, it started right up very easily with only a few gentle pulls of the starter cord. I would highly recommend it for small garden tilling and weeding. Some people might try to use this for large open area tilling or weeding and given enough time, I'm sure it could handle it but, I would not recommend using this product for large open area tilling or weeding. Assembly and operating instructions: Clearly written and easy to understand. NOTE TO MANTIS: A product improvement recommendation, the tiller blades should be labeled to indicate direction of rotation for tilling vs. cultivating. The blade attachment for Tilling vs. Cultivating is not real obvious by reading the instructions and/or examining the blades. ... show more

  • Best money you will ever spend
Style: Tiller
This is my 2nd mantis purchase. Like the fact that this comes with a kickstand. My other one finally decided to quit working. 20 + years my previous one lasted. So I got my $$ worth. I have 4 raised gardens & this is way better than the electric Sun Joe I had bought previously, that was waste of $$ . You will not be disappointed. ... show more
