Out of the box, the two devices arrive in separate, elegant product boxes rather than loosely combined packaging. Presentation feels premium and intentional — modern, clean, and very well organized. The materials and layout give a high-quality first impression. Both units were charged to 98% right out of the box. The instruction manuals are simple, highly legible, and easy to follow. I did notice that while the two stubble comb attachments are labeled as 0.6mm and 1.3mm in the manual, the plastic combs themselves are not stamped, so there’s no direct marking on the pieces. For clarity: the tighter, denser grid is the 1.3mm comb (longer stubble), and the more open/lighter grid is the 0.6mm comb (shorter stubble). The Beard Hedger works extremely well for debulking. In fact, I’d recommend using it first on heavier growth before finishing with the foil shaver. That combination produced the cleanest result. The foil shaver performance on the face is very good. It required slightly more passes than I’m used to with other premium shavers, but the final result was smooth and clean overall. The only area that proved slightly difficult was the lip-to-nose junction — it takes a bit more maneuvering to fully clear that tight space. Where this unit truly stands out is ergonomics. The grip and balance in hand are excellent — it feels secure, natural, and well controlled during use. I also tested it carefully on more delicate areas with reassuring results. It performed impressively well with minimal irritation and only one very minor nick that I did not even feel. It does require patience in delicate areas, but the experience felt safer and more controlled than many trimmers I’ve used over the decades. Battery performance also impressed me. After approximately 15–20 minutes of continuous use, the foil shaver dropped from 98% to 88%, which suggests solid efficiency and usable runtime. One additional detail worth noting: the foil shaver supports wireless charging. A wireless charging pad is not included, but if you already own one, that’s a convenient bonus feature. Overall, this is the most complete all-in-one grooming setup I’ve owned. Having purchased and used many different trimmers and shavers over the years, I can honestly say this combination replaces multiple tools in one streamlined package. One system does it all at a great combo value— and I genuinely wish I had something this comprehensive decades ago.

I recently picked up the The Chairman Electric Foil Face Shaver along with The Beard Hedger Trimmer, and I can honestly say this is the best grooming combo I’ve ever owned n the 40 plus years I have been shaving, including 25 years of shaving my head. The Chairman delivers an incredibly smooth, close shave without any irritation. The foil system glides effortlessly over my skin, even on sensitive/flexible areas like my neck. It handles both daily stubble and a few days’ growth with ease, and the battery life is excellent. The waterproof design is a huge bonus as I’ve used it in the shower with zero issues. The Beard Hedger is equally impressive. The adjustable length wheel is perfect—no more switching between multiple guards. Just twist to your desired length and go--this is my absolute favorite feature It feels sturdy, premium, and well-built. They arrived in very nice packaging, quality in every aspect.
