this product is well made. the instructions are very easy to follow, and you need to use basic household tools and etc.it was cut into 2, and used on 2 separate windows. it needed some trimming that was a snap with a kitchen scissor. keeps complete privacy in the bathroom from any prying eyes, and allows plenty of sunlight to reach in. make sure to get rid of any liquid bubbles from the get go, and it should stay this way for a long time. recommended!

This product looks great, just like a real shade. Easy to put on. Use lots of the water and soap mixture to work with the film. Use a nice sharp knife to cut the excess film.

Looks very nice and lets diffuse light in without someone being able to see other than a tiny bit of very, very diffuse amorphous shapes through either side if up close. I bought because I need privacy but also some light. My apartment complex requires white blinds for window coverings, and this film does the trick. Somewhat noticeable off-gassing smell from material upon unrolling, but not enough to noticeably bother me so far (I'm very sensitive to fumes). Recommend as two-person job to make it easier if windows are large or tall, to help hold film in place when applying to surface.

My home is on a raised foundation, so I don’t really need heavy drapes on the raised windows…however, I’ve recently spotted someone flying their drone around, and until I can net it and send it back to its maker, this film provides the perfect amount of privacy and perfect amount of light in! Plain sheers did nothing but provide daytime cover, but at night, with the lights on, (or during the Summer heat) it was as if I had nothing on them. I will be adding this film to all the windows on my East and West facing windows, though I’m planning on doubling it up with mirrored tint underneath, to keep the heat and crazy brightness of the Summer sun at bay. I provided several pix, with increasing close up views, to show the level of opacity, as well as the diffuses “gaps” in the slats, that make these “blinds” look more realistic. These films are extremely easy to install, and if you have a hard time installing it, it is because #1 you did not follow the instructions and remove the backer film, or #2 your windows are not properly cleaned. Seriously, a child could install these films, and the fact that they are similar to silicone window clings, makes them that much easier to handle. I HIGHLY recommend using a good spritzing of lightly soapy water on your CLEAN windows, a VERY SHARP razor blade, and a good squeegee. Follow the directions, and you shouldn’t have any problems at all.
