I thinks it’s a good buy for the price. Is made of steel tubing, not “mantle”. all the parts you need are included. Easy to install if you have wood or concrete stairs. I had irregular bedrock, but still got it done.

I like the style and the ease of installation of these stair railings. They are very sturdy, look good and serve our needs. I did use bolts instead of the provided screws on these wooden stairs as I didn't think the screws would be as secure. My only issue is that I ordered the 4-5 stair model and it was too long for the 4 stairs. So I returned those and ordered the 3-4 stair model. As you can see by the pics, the 3-4 stair model is too short to cover 4 stairs and almost too long for three stairs. I had to attach them at the very edge of the tread. These are standard size stairs. All in all I'm glad I purchased them, but I wish they had a 4 stair option that would have worked for me. ... show more

these handrails were easy to install, came with everything needed, and appear to be supper strong. Took less then an hour to assemble and install with the help of one other person.

The end result is very good but difficult to get there. The "instructions" included covered assembly of the parts, but absolutely no instructions for mounting. Wood screws provided for wood step installation which would be pretty straight forward and easy. Hardware provided for concrete installation works well but some instructions could have made the process easier. A recommendation on drill size would have been very helpful. I found that a 3/8 inch bit worked well. The 2 pressed metal wrenches provided were next to useless and the nuts on the hardware were an odd size, too big for 13mm and too small for 14mm, but I was able to make the 14 work. Total time required to assemble and mount the unit was a little over 2 hours. ... show more
