Thought it would look like plantation shutters since they called them shutter blinds. Looks very realistically like mini blinds from outside the home. Our garage walk through door has a large window and the home has plantation shutters. Wouldn’t be possible to install actual plantation shutters on a door that is used so decided to try faux. Replace a heavy curtain over the non-sliding portion of our slider. I love how much cleaner it looks and cannot believe how it does look like real blinds! I got the widest width so it is all one piece. I doubt a single person could install such a large heavy piece alone. Need a 2nd person to hold it up so it stays level at the top as the weight of one side wants to pull down the other side, and to stop the top from sliding down while pulling off the backing farther down. All that aside it was fairly easy to install, and definitely worth it. fyi: the 3 shadows in the pic are magnets on the sliding screen door behind it. ... show more
