  • Go for it you'll be happy you did!
By far the best bang for your buck, I am very satisfied and can't believe how cheap it was compared to other gimbal for DSLRs. If your on a budget this is absolutely the way to go, it handles my 90D with all of my lenses with ease and is a breeze to balance. Only downside is with the 90D you have to do a little fiddling to get the camera controls to work properly when connecting to the gimbal but honestly that's a small price to pay for such a great device at such a low price. ... show more

  • BEWARE of this purchase! It's a SCAM!
I bought the MVG460 gimbal little over a month ago from "THE MANFROTTO STORE" on amazon but it was defective (the section right above the handgrip where the menu is was loose, looked like it would break in half). I didn't notice it at first but by the time I realized the return window was closed. . I called amazon for an exchange since it would be under warranty, they connected me to Manfrotto. Manfrotto asked for a proof of purchase from amazon. After looking at the receipt they said "Unfortunately, that was purchased from an unauthorized dealer and it is not covered under warranty. I cannot guarantee this is my product or the condition it was sold in as it did not come from us. So now I called amazon again and told them what Manfrotto had said in their email. Amazon offered me the full refund at first then upon returning the gimbal they charged me $71.60 RESTOCKING FEE. I called amazon for the full refund but they said that I'm returning it after 30 days so the restocking fee would have to be charged. I told them I didn't want the return in the first place, you guys offered me the refund. bottom line: Manfrotto says it's not covered under warranty because it was purchased from an "UNAUTHORIZED DEALER" and amazon says there's a restocking fee. I have been a Prime for many many years and they make me feel like I'm running a scam. I am going to contact the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU and let them investigate this matter. ... show more

  • Easy To Use, Works Very Well
The media could not be loaded. I have a Canon 70D, my camera is not on the compatibility list, however it fits perfectly fine. The way its built you can adjust the hot shoe multiple ways to fit any DSLR. The Compatibility list (which is easily found on their website noted in boxed instructed) is only used for electronic connections to your camera, such as adjusting focus electronically, rec start/stop., etc. Its very easy to balance and use why shooting. • Doesn’t fit almost any Nikon
Doesn’t fit most Nikon cameras. Weight is irrelevant when the axis wasn’t designed for an average Nikon DSLR body. Took me ten minutes to find the compatibility page after purchase to see that about 3 Nikon models are supported. 3? Seriously?
