I haven't actually used it yet. I don't think that's going to be a large factor in my review. It looks simple enough. It arrived safely, somehow in a plastic bag. I have no idea how the contents fit inside the thin box, I bought this , we need a slicing standard, Mom cannot cut an onion without it being at twice as big on one side, the price- on sale, and at 30 bucks, I'm ok with that. We have changed our eating habits, and have invested in some decent tools for the job, as well as the right dishes, things like this make it easier. I am pretty much content with this Mandoline. I have not had enough practice in using all the blades but have used it and am happy I chose this. I had another but did not have the knob for thickness so I returned it. Super happy I got this one!

This is...a sharp mandolin. I used it to make Philly cheesesteaks. I froze the ribeye and sliced it thin. It has alot of different things you can do. Julienne, waffle, and the slicer is adjustable with the knob. Also it came w a pair of cut resistant gloves. The frozen ribeye sliced seamlessly without much effort. Cleaning is a little tedious as the metal plates don't come off. So be careful hand washing it. Great mandolin though! ... show more

Perfect size, easily stored and the guard is a nice size to provide safety. I like the plastic guard on blade when not in use to prevent accidentally cutting fingers when pulling out of cabinet or drawer. I lay it across large bowls and with the stand it works fine. Will enjoy using this mandolin.
