Quality glass terrarium with built in grow light and adjustable vents for airflow. Thick glass is clear without bubbles or cracks. Happy to find a taller terrarium, most I have seen are short in height, but the taller interior area of this one holds larger plants, or pots with raised feet. Grow light is bright; my Hoya has been quite happy inside. Beautiful way to display a plant. Very easy to set up, just put the metal top on and plug it in. Grow light has dimmer and timer, runs off a USB and includes a charging block. Timer options for 4 hours, 8 hours and 12 hours. Has been working perfectly and the timer is accurate. This is such a neat terrarium setup! I love that it is taller, which makes it more versatile. I ordered it to make a moss garden, but given how strong the light can be adjusted to, I may try my hand at something that requires high light levels. The vessel is made of beautiful, clear glass with an excellent clarity. It's substantial without being clunky. The light has a metal body and sits perfectly atop the base. It's adjustable and has a basic timer on it, so you can set and forget. Once I get it planted I'll add pics. ... show more

This little terrarium has a lot of possibilities! I got it to make a mini moss sculpture garden, like in the pictures for this. I'm not sure mine will look as spectacular as some I've seen, but it will be fun to work with either way. You can set the lights at different levels and also on a timer. The venting system is super simple- twist the lighted top to open and close them for more or less humidity depending on what you plant. You could also just plant a plant or two if you wanted to keep it simple, or use it for a couple of basic fish like goldfish that don't need a lot of attention.
