Buying this device was a great decision that completely turned things around in my damp basement. For many years. I struggled with persistent odors and high humidity in the basement, and this dehumidifier finally solved the problem. In just one day the air became noticeably drier and fresher. The tank capacity is large enough that I don’t have to empty it constantly, and it also has an auto off feature. The unit runs so quietly that I don’t even notice it’s on at night. it states that it’s for 2500 ft.² I have an 1100 square-foot house so it is not for 2500 ft.² at all! It’s a good little dehumidifier but saying that it’s for a 2500 square-foot house is nonsense. I have to move it down into my bedroom or whatever room I want it for to work in that room.

This says it holds 35 pints and that is a flat out lie. This little tank is holds about 5 pints. I hooked the drain hose up so I wouldn't have to empty the tiny tank so often and it fills up the tank and shuts off anyway. This thing is useless.

Finally, a dehumidifier that actually works in my basement! I was skeptical at first because my basement has always had that musty smell, no matter what I tried. After running this unit for just 24 hours, I could already feel the difference in the air – it feels so much lighter and fresher. The tank is a good size and I love that it shuts off automatically when full so I don't have to worry about overflow. The humidity level in my basement has dropped from 72% to a comfortable 45%, and the musty odor is completely gone. I bought this for my bedroom because summer humidity was making it hard to sleep comfortably.
