    • Higher quality than generic corny keg
This is a nicely made corny keg for homebrewers. Metal and weld and fittings quality are great, and it it does its job holding my beer with no issues. The interior is nicely polished so it's very easy to clean and sanitize. I replaced the dip tube on mine with a floating dip tube, which isn't necessary, but is a nice addition for homebrewers if you want to crash/condition in the keg. It also has some extra headspace versus a regular 5 gallon keg in that it holds 6.5 gallons, so you have the option to either fill it with a slightly larger batch. More importantly, however, this gives you the option to use this keg as a pressure fermenter if you add a spunding valve. I haven't tried this since I have a dedicated pressure fermenter, but I have zero doubt it would work well for this. I do wish the lid had a port to allow you to add a thermowell, but that is not something I'd expect out of the box for a general purpose keg. ... show more

Fermented 2 batches in it so far so good. I went back and forth between this and torpedo 6 gal. I landed on this because it uses standard corny lids. Pretty happy overall
