It’s a great couch for the price, cushions are a little firm but I like it that way. It was fairly easy to assemble, did it by myself in about 20 minutes. The “scheduled” delivery, however, was an absolute nightmare. Not once did anyone reach out to me to schedule a delivery date but one was provided to me through the tracking information which happened to work with my schedule. Unfortunately, while I was out of town for a few days long before the “scheduled” delivery date, the company attempted to deliver my couch three days in a row after telling them I was not home to accept the delivery and that is not the day that it was supposed to be delivered. The owner of the delivery company even pressured me to try to get someone else to come sign for the couch for me, even though it was about four days before the supposedly scheduled delivery date. Also, I’m not sure if it’s an issue with the clearly unprofessional delivery company or if it’s an issue with the warehouse that it came from, but the couch arrived dirty and damaged in one corner. I would not recommend purchasing this, especially if you live in a rural area. The couch came in a box that was not difficult to bring inside on my own so I don’t see any reason why this couldn’t have been shipped through UPS or Amazon itself. While I am satisfied with the couch itself, because I purchased a couch cover to hide the damage, the entire process was such a headache that it was absolutely not worth it. ... show more

The fabric connecting the back cushions to the back of the couch started to rip over time. Threw a blanket over the back and ignored it. Very easy to take apart and transport.

The sofa is easy to assemble (screw the 4 MDF legs and snap the armchairs/backrest onto the main sofa) however is very heavy and might need a second person - I put everything together by raising the sofa on a long box and tilting it to one side). However I would not recommend it, and we had problems from the very beginning: - the seller sent the sofa with delay and received it 10 days later with Amazon only apologising we did not get it in 4 days as it said on their site - very difficult to sit watching TV on chairs, as we moved into a new place and did not have a sofa or a table (another seller messing us with this) - the driver left the sofa outside the main door, so I had to drag it myself (a small woman) inside - the sofa had the arm rests different than in the Amazon pictures (the arm rests there were very elongated): nothing like the sofa we have received - the arm rests had both the sponge destroyed underneath the fabric: imagine having the arm rests with a 'valley' in them and not straight. I suspect this will get only worse! I doubt the seller would put such a sofa in his house, why would he sell it to us like that? - others complained you cannot 'curl' on the sofa - well, that is true: this is more like a waiting room sofa, unless you are a very tall man and can put your feet flat on the floor and have your back rested on the sofa - as a smaller woman I could not achieve the same, so I was in pain due to my medical problems not being helped with such a sofa!!! - even if you put your whole body on the sofa with legs rested on it, you are not relaxed because the sofa is rather narrow We were so tired of all these problems we noticed in a few days, we decided to go out there and 'try' some sofas - they were so good by comparison straight away we purchased a sofa almost double in price. Worse, the seller created so many problems with the label and expected us to go to the local UPS store to return the sofa which we could not. Then Amazon persuaded the seller to organise pick up from our place: despite many calls, the seller put on the label the name of person who does not reside at this address - no idea how the seller 'picked up' the name of this person, however we had enough, printed the label, affixed it to the package and let's hope somebody will turn up to return it to the seller. There are plenty reviews saying that the last two pieces can’t fit, this is partly a factory error and partly because we haven’t followed the instructions right. Myself included. (If these last two pieces are the final ones to put on, you didn’t follow the steps right). However! here’s an easy fix: unscrew the metal pieces and flip them over. Do this to the metal on the couch so the end with the wider opening is on top. The bottom of the metal on the corner piece should be the thinner end, so it’s easy to slip it down into the metal on the couch. You might have to move them up or down the original holes when you screw then back in, depending on how off the alignment is. You will only need a regular Phillips and flat head screwdriver. The couch itself is very high quality for the price. The fabric is soft and comfortable almost like microfiber velvet. The cushions don’t sink in like most couches, they are very firm and this might change over time and use. However the amount of space you have on this is quite small. Plus size bodies will find it difficult to be comfortable as there just isn’t a lot of room on here. I am 5‘4“ 120 lbs and I could comfortably sleep on this couch, anyone bigger than me might have some problems. Overall I am very happy with my purchase and have zero regrets. ... show more

I'm absolutely loving this couch. The purchase was made because of 3 factors; 1) old couch was pretty much dead, 2) very affordable price for a potential temporary replacement (have another room for it if I wasn't overly happy with it) and 3) I have cats that will no doubt destroy the corners. The couch is very firm. I'm a big fan of that. It takes you by surprise though, it looks soft. Actually the only 2 things I'm not a fan of is the arm rests are very low and the sitting area isn't near as deep as a traditional couch. When you take naps on it there is a chance of rolling off easily. For under 300 it's easy to live with the minor negatives when I find this couch as comfy as I do. ... show more
