I picked up this Mallrace laptop recently and it does exactly what I need it to do. The Ryzen 7 and 16GB of RAM keep things moving fast. I hate when tech bogs down and makes me wait, but this handles having a bunch of tabs open while I manage my Unraid server and Home Assistant setup without a problem. This is a great laptop. It will likely not do well playing high demanding games, but for the average needs, it covers them all. Pros- It was very securely packaged and shipped fast. It has a nice sleek design. The screen hinge has some tension so it stays where you put it. The screen has a matt finish on it, so there are no significant issues with glare, making it very useable outside. It boots up, ready to use in about 20 seconds. Multi-tasking between apps, web and streaming audio is no problem. Sound quality is decent. For those that care, the camera has a built in manual cover. The battery life is good for between classes or plane trips. It is very quiet! Even when the fan comes on. Plenty of accessory plug-ins, microSD, three USB 3.0 ports, HDMI, USB-C, and a headphone jack. Cons- I'm getting a little picky here, but the clicker on the touch pad is a bit clunky. You definitely get a tactile feedback, which is a good thing, but I don't really like the touch pad anyway and will be connecting a mouse to it. ... show more

I picked up this laptop for my daughter who has never really used a Windows based platform so she can game online with her friends. The specs were enough to pull the trigger. Its snappy, the IPS panel is beautiful...and most of all, my kid loves it and that's the most important part.

Runs great, looks great, does exactly what I ask of it but.... The battery only lasts an hour and a half, maybe give another 15-20 minutes? Just playing RTS games, nothing graphically intensive. Never owning a laptop before I just feel like this is a pretty sad battery life. My only complaint.
