First off, yes, they do run small. I went ahead and ordered an entire size up and they fit perfectly with just enough room for semi thick socks without feeling too tight or rubbing. These are surprisingly well made. I do wish the zipper on the side wasn’t plastic, but otherwise, they are stunning quality. The buckle details are super cute, and the heel is comfy enough for walking. I have 15 inch calves and the calf is stretchy and large enough for a little extra room. I have no problem getting them zipped up. I would recommend either sanding the bottoms lightly or adding strips of super/hot glue for traction, especially if you are planning to wear them outdoors in the winter. They are absolutely beautiful. I wear a 9 normally but these fit too good. I tried them with pants and jeans and they were just a little snug in the calf. Exchanging for a half size up just for that reason. But otherwise beautiful boots.

Just got these and I LOVE them. They seem comfortable, and I love that they fit my calf nicely and not tight…. Anyone who says they’re not wide calf may have a super wide calves. Size is good- although I prob could have gone a half size down. Reason for 4 stars and not 5 is because I ordered chocolate and received brown. I like them so much I may just re- order the chocolate and have both. Won’t be happy if I get another pair of brown though!! ... show more

These were VERY well packed. They added foam to prevent creases and tissue to cover the metal pieces. They are super cute and fit perfectly. I'm usually an 8 1/2 to a 9 and I bought the 9. You'll need skinny jeans though, perhaps a slimmer straight leg would tuck in as well. I'm buying every color except the white. I think these boots work for younger women and older like me (54). Very classy looking. I bought the brown and the color is a little brighter than my screen but it's a lovely color. UPDATE: haven't worn them, but yes, bought two more colors--black and khaki. Will update when I wear them. UPDATE 2: These are VERY comfortable. I don't wear them often and I usually go for flat boots but these are pretty cushy and my feet don't ache afterwards. Can't say about the longevity of the material as I don't wear them often but I'm happy with these. ... show more

Size: 6 Color: Black
The description stated that this boot was a wide calf. I typically wear a wide calf in tall boots. This boot is NOT a wide calf. However, since it is a slouch boot, I am able to push it down below my calf to make it fit. Not the ideal look though.
