    • Why would you buy DeWalt?
I have my tools stolen out of a truck. These are not brushless but they are amazing tools. Had them before and they lasted years. I work in construction and beat the crap out of tools. Drills dropping in pools etc etc.. when it comes down to precision work these are excellent drills. You don't see that many people hanging cabinet doors and stuff like that with dewalts because they run too fast and the trigger is either all on or all off. The set was like buying two batteries and a charger.. I'm getting a hammer drill and an impact for free...just sayin ... show more

    • Best drill set for the money!
You can't beat this drill set. I install over head doors for a living. Pretty much the only tools needed for this job and they go all day day after day. 5 years of installing 4 doors a day and I finally had to replace them my old batteries and charger are still good. I'm not easy on equipment they would fall off the lader or the table working in extremely cold temperatures and they just keep working. I hope this helps. P.s. do not buy the black set don't even take it if someone wants to give it to you. The black set is JUNK. ... show more

It's a quality tool set. Been using these for years. Gave one of my kits away and bought a new setup. Strangely enough I think the new ones are heaver, but better balanced.

Plenty of power. I put bit extensions in the case, and the top of the case is stamped such that my bits slide into the top, where they are difficult to retrieve. I had to duck-tape the top to prevent this.

Both tools were typical of Makita's high quality. Two batteries, a charger and the drills well worth the price. Beats buying batteries on their own.

    • Pay extra to use with kid gloves?
I read the manual and obviously these products are not to be used with wild abandon...You know, the way we use tools. There is a procedure involved when going from forward to reverse to loosen a stuck bit. If you follow instructions these tools should last. Charges fast, plenty of power...We'll see.

Absolutely love all there tool's. Have almost every 18v and 36v but. I had bought a set about 8 years ago when all the tools came in hard cases. I have been looking for 3 years for this specific case and thought I found it again but it was an updated version of it. That looks nothing like the picture. The old one had one extra battery space and a bit storage area. The new one has 2 extra battery spots witch is nice but carrying the common tips in the case was great. ... show more
