Description

1. Charging Charging Current: Charging current shall not exceed 5A(15℃~55℃). Charging with a higher current than the recommended value may cause problems with the charging and discharging performance, mechanical performance and safety performance of the cell, and may lead to heat generation or leakage Charging Voltage: Charging voltage shall not exceed 4.2V. 4.2V is the maximum limit of charging voltage, and the design of the charger shall meet this condition; if the battery voltage is higher than the rated voltage, it may cause problems with the charging and discharging performance, mechanical performance and safety performance of the battery cell, and may lead to heat generation or leakage Charging Temperature: The battery must be charged within the ambient temperature range of 0°C~15°C, max 0.2C, cut-off voltage is 4.2V; 15°C~45°C, max 0.5C, cut-off voltage is 4.2V; 45°C~55°C, max 0.5C, cut-off voltage is 4.1V Prohibit Reverse Charging: Connect the positive and negative terminals of the battery correctly, reverse charging is strictly prohibited. If the positive and negative terminals of the battery are reversed, it will not be possible to charge the battery cells. At the same time, reverse charging will reduce the charging and discharging performance and safety of the battery cell, and will lead to heat generation and leakage 2. Discharge Discharge Current: Discharge current shall not exceed 5A(0℃~60℃), 2A(-20℃~0℃), high current discharge will lead to a drastic reduction in the capacity of the battery cell and lead to overheating Over-discharge: During the long-term unused period, the battery may be in some kind of over-discharge state with its self-discharge characteristics. In order to prevent the occurrence of over-discharge, the battery should be regularly charged to maintain its voltage between 3.7V and 3.9V; over-discharge will lead to the loss of cell performance, battery function 3. This is running an esp8266 in my yard, measuring outdoor weather parameters. It keeps the chip running with wifi connection to the house, recharging off power from landscape lighting about 4-6h per night (depending on sunset). Measured power loss matches calculated power loss (as expected, on warm days I go from 100-->65% power in 18h). In subzero winter conditions I'm seeing lows of 40%. Using battery on a Meshtastic solar node. Small charger controller and solar panel. So far it’s working perfectly. Just a 5V solar panel and tiny charger controller all working perfectly. Definitely recommend battery for your projects. Be sure to use proper charger.

I have been running a solar powered Meshtastic node, with a Rak Wisblock with this battery. The polarity was reversed to I quickly spliced them correctly and it plugged right in to the board directly. I get about 3 months of use on 1 cycle, but a small 5 watt solar panel keeps it above 95% all the time. A great choice for a solar node. 👌 ... show more
