I really drug my feet in buying driftwood. I was nervous about the pieces I would get and who to buy from. Super glad I bought from this seller. They arrived in bubble wrap. Very carefully packaged. The pieces are got are amazing, just what I was looking for at a great price. Spider wood doesn't affect your pH so and these didn't release hardly any tannins. I boiled them for 2 hours twice and then soaked overnight. Then I put them in and they look amazing! Thanks very much, I would definitely recommend this seller. I will be back!!

Beautiful piece for my fish tank and the fish love it. Just a heads up you need to soak it for a few days or weeks for it to actually sync. Otherwise, you can use a rock like I did to weigh it down. My only issue is it wasn’t as big as I thought it would be it’s said 13 to 17 inches but it was more like 10 inches on any side you measured it. My husband told me it’s like measuring a TV. It’s minimum 13 inches from one corner to opposite corner, measure it diagonally😣

It is very nice wood, when I put the pieces in my tank they stayed on the bottom very sturdily. I was impressed by the quality of the wood and the consistency in color. I was a bit skeptical of ordering aquascaping products, its difficult to know what shapes/sizes will be received. However, I was happy to receive the 2 pieces that came. I ordered this 2 piece set and another 3 piece set at the same time. The larger 2 piece set had 2 very beautiful and nice size pieces. The 3 piece set is as described but unremarkable. Im considering returning the 3 pieces and reordering another 2 larger pieces. 5 stars for the 2 piece set, 4 stars for the smaller 3 piece. ** Boil these, and soak them well so that they become waterlogged and don't float!

So I’ve ordered from this company at least three or four times over the years. Only once was I disappointed after unpackaging moldy wood. After I got over the disappointment of that order (which I did return), it hasn’t stopped me from continuing to order from this seller because of my past positive experiences. I’ve ordered both spider wood as mopani. This particular time I ordered 2 pieces of spiderwood, and I was not let down. The pieces are super unique, all at least 12” in length and loving the shapes. I’ve learned 1) You (almost always) get what you pay for in terms of the size you order. It is natural wood so every piece will be unique 2) It’s like a box of chocolates: you never know what you’re going to get. If you’re not happy with what you received (ex: 3 smaller pieces of spiderwood but you expected to get pieces that were bigger, then you probably should pay a little more 🤷🏻♀️). Or if you don’t like the shape, well….its natural wood . Also keep in mind some super glue, a piece of cotton (and some of whatever substrate you have to sprinkle over the glue to cover the white color the super glue dries)…..then you have more flexibility make what you want you can take those smaller pieces and create your own, unique piece. As I’ve learned since I started this hobby, you don’t have to be disappointed with what you receive (unless you paid for 2 larges pieces and didn’t receive two large pieces), you can do so many things with multiple small pieces. They don’t have to be just some wood that lays flat in your aquarium. Save some money (if you don’t end up returning it bc you got pieces arrived moldy)….and find a way to scape your tank with what you have. I boil all of the wood (and all things related to hardscape) every time. I’m still expecting there to be some tannins in my tank, but fish like it, it’s good for their slime coat and it’ll eventually be clear with proper maintenance as well as time. Im still anticipating it’s not going to sink straight to the bottom so I plan on anchoring them anyway for stability. And if you begin to see some fuzzy, unsightly white organic biomaterial growing on your wood, it’s more likely than not both the wood and your tank are trying to find an equilibrium and the white stuff with eventually go away if you don’t choose to try and get rid of it first. And for those who are complaining about their wood not sinking right away after boiling/sinking, then use a rock of something to anchor it down until it’s waterlogged. Problem solved. I’ve boiled and boiled sometimes and the wood still wouldn’t sink. So basically if you’re not happy with it or you feel like you got ripped off, then contact the seller. Otherwise look at it as a chance to do something cool by creating your own piece. My two 12” pieces of spiderwood did have some natural tiny thorn-like pieces (since remember: it’s natural wood), but I sanded those to try and help mitigate any injury to my fish. I saw some negative reviews from other people, looked at their pictures and thought : I would love to have received that piece. But the two pieces I received are going to be perfect for my river bed theme in a tank set up I’m working on now. Definitely recommend this seller as definitely will be ordering again in the future.

The media could not be loaded. Update: Seller responded promptly to my concerns about the product and offered a full refund or replacement. Changed my star rating because of great customer service! Didn't really like any of the little pieces at all. They might be good for a 5 gallon tank or something but for a bigger tank they would just look like a little stick. They also didn't have much character to them. After boiling they also became extremely brittle and some areas broke off. One piece had this powder material inside. I wouldn't put that in my tank! It looks rotten. The large pieces that I ordered were way nicer and worth the price but not these little ones. I even trimmed a few of the big ones and the wood was hard and seemed like good quality. I don't know why these small ones were the total opposite of the big ones and seemed rotten. Wish i would have used the money toward a big piece instead and not these. Not happy at all and one piece is not usable at all because it's rotten or something.

I'd recommend ordering larger than you think. The wood itself is solid. Quality and color are nice. It arrived dry, clean, and wrapped in about 8 pounds of tape and bubble wrap. That said, I can't help but be a bit disappointed. The pieces are quite a bit smaller than anticipated. They do indeed meet the length as listed, but I feel selling by length alone is a bit misleading. I can't really fault the seller either as it's .... wood. Each piece is gonna be different, I get it.

I received my three pieces of driftwood, and while two of them weren’t exactly what I was looking for, I reached out to the shop and they immediately sent two replacements. Their communication was amazing! very quick, helpful, and responsive. The driftwood itself is great quality and releases good tannins. The two pieces just didn’t match what I wanted at first, but they fixed it right away. Overall, excellent quality and a very good price for what you’re getting. Highly recommend!
