Update 6/12/17: I bought a second! I bought the ivory one and it is STUNNING. Those that are complaining that it's too small aren't thoroughly reading reviews. I'm normally a medium/large. I got an XL in the ivory and it JUST fit and the 2XL in black is sometimes too big. My sister-in-law, who is a Large said the 2XL that I let her borrow fit nicely. Do your research via reviews before purchasing, people. It's not this company's fault. October 2016: The reviews are all true!!! Shocking, I know. This corset is a RARE find on a site filled with falsities. I received it the exact day I was informed I would and everything is perfect. Being overly excited, I flopped backwards onto my bed in attempts to follow others' instructions (it's easiest to put it on lying down). But, oddly, I found it fit strange! And then I began to laugh at myself. I'd put the corset on upside down in my excitement. Meanwhile, my fiance was downstairs, calling "Can I come up NOOOOW?!" like a child asking if they could open their presents yet on Christmas morning. Finally, I managed to get it on. My only problem is that, while I order a XXL (2XL) like sizing says and the comments said, I should've only ordered an XL. I'll know this for next time. Also-the g-string was swiftly placed in the trash as it was HUGE on me. In case anyone my size needs assistance in figuring out what to order, here is my sizing: 32/34 C/D (depends on the bra company), size Medium in shirts, size 10 in dresses. Before I begin I want to give a disclaimer. This is the first time I've bought a corset from anywhere but a Halloween store and I am going entirely based on my "cheap" corset experiences. All the corsets at Halloween stores are more expensive and similar quality if not worse from time to time. Okay let's start with the negatives. The product us one you definitely need to size up in. The bust area has a decorative strung but isn't adjustable, which causes issues because I'm a 38C bra usa, 38-40 inch waist (I did this measurement over a few days so I'm doing a give or take) 42 inch upper hip and 44 inch lower hip naturally. I had to size up from my normal size so the chest is a bit bigger than I would like but not so much so that I can't wear it. I'd also like to point out that after a few uses it does start to lose its shape but that may be because I tighten it a bit more than intended for a cheap corset. That brings me to my next point. For a very cheap corset I am very impressed at its appearance and structure. It is very nice for a short term and even after it stretches a bit I can still wear it. It's not bad for a cheaper corset and I can use it for cosplay as well as occasional normal wear. The material is also pretty nice, not at all ichy or painful. If you figure the right technique for your body, it's very easy to put on and tighten. Again, the appearance is impressive. It looks nice design wise. Over all I'd definitely say if you can't get a really expensive corset but want something similar or if you need a cheap corset for a cosplay or costume I say go for it. To me, it's better than what I expected for the price.

I bought two smalls for me and my best friends Halloween costumes because we are both smalls and most reviews said true to size or too small. I received mine and they were HUGE it wouldn’t even stay on at all. If the quality wasn’t good I would have given a 1 star The first picture is it on normally. Laced up as tight as it can go. It fits me like a large or an XL Second picture I pulled it until it sort of fit me right. If you’re a small usually. Buy an XXS

For my Black Swan Halloween costume, this Women's Lace Up Boned Overbust Corset Bustier Lingerie Bodyshaper Top was ideal. The rounded heads of the metal button-like pegs on the front slide perfectly into the matching metal loops. In the loop, the pegs slide into the side with the bigger aperture first, and then to the side with the smaller opening. The corset cannot be unbuttoned unless it tears since it is taut and not loose. This bustier's craftsmanship and quality make it unlikely to tear. Even people with short torsos and minimal waistlines can get the trendy cinched or snatched look by pulling the looped ties on either side in the back. I pulled as hard as I could, taking my foot to keep her body from moving in my direction. I then secured it in a bow, which remained in place all night long without coming loose or untied. It endured hours of dancing and perspiration. There are no cups for your boobs to sit in, the corset just smashes everything in and up if you prefer. We used boob tape which also held up strong all night. With the tape holding them up and covering the nipple, no need to worry about being exposed if one of the girls spills out over the top. Outstanding quality with this corset!

This piece is lovely! As stated in other reviews it is really well built. It does fit a bit small, but it's a corset! It has lacing in the back to let out, which works wonderfully. NOTE: The back leasing has a panel that can flip over. So either the lacing can show your skin through it, or there can be a flap of fabric. This extra fabric is not very big, just about 6 inches. If you want the fabric to cover over then I highly recommend getting a slightly larger size than you think you need. If you want your skin to show through, get the size you think you should. As also stated another review the first time you put it on you'll need some extra time. The fasteners in the front are a bit tricky. And when I say 'a bit' I mean rather, since there is a bone in peace directly under them so no give while you're trying to get them fastened. When one goes on if feels like two more come back off again. But it just takes a time or two to get used to. But, leave yourself room with the lacing in the back, do the fasteners in the front, then pull the back tight. Works like a charm. I highly recommend this corset! It is absolutely beautiful. The front fasteners are a bit industrial if you're looking for a costume/vintage piece, but this is beautifully made. (So great for cosplay/steam punk, inaccurate for historical, wonderful for fantasy!) If I am looking for other corsets I will absolutely look at this groups other selection. NOTE- I was originally sent the wrong piece. And by wrong piece I mean skirt type thing that had absolutely nothing to do with corsets, not like they sent me the wrong course it. The exchange was Apsley no problem, I just wanted to note that this did happen so leave yourself a bit of time if ordering. ENJOY!!!!

It looks really nice and will work well for my Halloween costume. The only issue I had with it is the sizing, for me it ran really big. I'm 5' 7" and 160 lbs. My bust is 40" and my waist is 30". I had to buy several sizes and a small ended up being best for me. The sizing was really weird and annoying so I bought like 4 of them until I found the right size. They also sent the wrong size, I ordered a Medium and they sent a small. The Medium would have probably worked well too.
