The product has worked well for home use. I have little ones, 10 and 14 who currently use this to strengthen various parts of body for their spots (baseball and track). I got the one with the bench and it will be used to get them slowly into lifting to increase muscle mass and this unit have the accessories to do it safely! (still need a spotter, though for supervision) This package was competitively priced and simply worked for us as a home workout set. If you need it for more serious/vigorous workout, you may need to bolt down the cage to stabilize it. The Seller was great at responding to issues I had. Although the original shipment contained a defective (bent part), they quick resolved it by sending a new one. If you got the Weight Set added, be prepared for the shipping company to toss this around and examine for lost parts because the boxing of the weights were just awful (easy to break during transportation and lose items), but again, the Seller came through with flying colors to make things right! ... show more

Mostly, this gym setup is awesome. I use it almost every day, and it fits great in 1/2 of my garage. The cable system is fairly smooth (I did a light WD-40 lube job before first use). Assembly took a while, but I had no problems. A few complaints though: 1. The attachments are mostly pretty cheap. I ended up buying after market attachments and replacing most of the ones that came with it. Luckily, quality replacements aren't that expensive. 2. The dip bars are especially bad. The handles are too narrow, and the metal is not very strong. I am 230 lbs, and I've bent them after about 5 uses. I've bought an after-market dip bar to replace. I've attached a picture showing the bend. But even with these faults, I'm quite happy with the purchase. I'm able to do all the exercises I need to do, hitting all the major muscle groups. No more waiting for equipment and listening to bad music at the gym for me! ... show more

Absolutely amazing! Solid material and functional piece of equipment. Took me 3 hours to put it together. Very stable when I do pull ups. The pulley system is amazing, not as loud as people said it would be. Incredibly fun rack. Perfect for garage and tight spaces. Great piece of equipment. My wife and I are really enjoying this investment. Neither of us were hardcore gym goers prior to this, but had been in the past. However, having the equipment at home has been amazing at keeping up our personal exercise goals. This power rack has a lot of different settings and options. Very well organized when shipped, and installation was fairly simple. I did it solo, with a little help with some of the top bars, which would fall over without someone holding them while I bolted them down. The whole product came in about 8 different packages. We were missing the 5 lb and 2 1/2 lb weights at first, but they were very helpful in getting those replaced. Thanks Major Fitness! ... show more

Rounding up here from 4.5 to 5 out of 5 stars because of customer service. •Customer Service: is stellar. I received 6 packages and was missing the (2) 20 pound weights, (2)10 pound weights, (2) 5 pound weights, and (2) 2.5 pound weights. I contacted customer service and within minutes had the whereabouts of the missing pieces in professional correspondence. •Ease of Set up: This is the reason I am down half a star. If you have a partner to help set it up, it’ll go fairly smooth. I would recommend opening all packages in a separate space from where you’re assembling it because it did seem quite daunting at first. Many of the pulleys come separately from the pieces they need to be attached to which is outlined in the instructions but there are 4 pulleys that come pre assembled which need to be removed to route the cable through the machine properly. I would say that this could use better photographs in the instructions. I will attach photos of how the cable needs to be routed. •Fit and Finish: all of the main structure is finished nicely, the bar and knurling are stellar, but the weights themselves already have chipping paint. This should be expected for cast iron pieces without a lot of pre coating prep(I work with metal daily). The Bench is a little short for me. Not suitable for 6’ incline bench press. Head and neck are completely off the bench. •Value for money: it’s all here. There’s no reason to go to a professional gym now. We have it all at home. •Workout effectiveness: requires a little bit of thought between exercises to get everything moved around and ready to work but I would argue that some mindfulness when exercising isn’t a bad thing. ... show more

For the price, this rack is solid. I was specifically looking for one with pulleys that move up or down to allow for different workouts, and the separate weight plate holder things on each side instead of only one in the middle. Everything seems to be good quality to last a long time. I didn’t take long to put together either. Maybe 3 hours with minimal help from a second person. with my husband we decide to invest in this instead of paying for a gym membership. and so far it has been great. is very sturdy. we can do a lot of different work outs for a full body. so far we reallu like. will update in a couple of months to make sure is holding good.
