The media could not be loaded. This fits perfectly in my home office. There are no settings for heat. It's either on or off. I had sworn I saw there were settings somewhere. The remote is handy though. The different types of fire effects are nice. Definitely more realistic than others models I checked out. It was fairly simple to put together. The decorative embellishment is a little sticky, which I did see in other reviews. Dust and dog hair get stuck to it. I just use a piece of packing tape to lightly press on it to remove it. Assembly took more than the 2 hours it claims. But in the end, I love the way it looks. The fireplace insert rattles a bit but I'm thinking it needs shimmed up

Product quality is substandard but we wanted a unit with sliding barn doors and got that. The instruction manual is AWFUL. Confusing, 2 pieces labeled differently than instruction book picture. Took me and my husband 6 hours to get right. Had to disassemble and redo x2. Remote was missing a battery.

Love the aesthetic's of the product. Great warmth. Not sure how long it will last though because one of the screws stripped very easily and the corrugated wood started to shred a bit, so I had to secure it with wood glue. I put it together by myself, but in all honesty, it is a two person build.
