I just got it delivered and immediately installed it. The midway point of my stairs is where the house expands into the living room. My house is older and frankly kinda gh.etto. (Blessed and happy to have somewhere to live though.) Anyways, we have no internal heating or AC so winter can get very cold. I bought this to section off the upstairs from the downstairs and keep in heat upstairs. Install was very easy once I understand the instructions it came with. I had to make a horizontal cut on the right panel bc of the stair rail so it could be flesh with the wall. Easy to do. I just duct taped the small gap I created. I'm impressed with the magnets in the middle. Quite strong. I walked through several times and they close up on their own very well. My smaller dogs were also able to get through with no issues as well. The curtain itself feels like good quality. Reasonably thick. My first impression when I opened the box was a little bad. I was worried I was sent a used product bc the package was taped up with packing tape? Very odd. But when I opened it the curtain didn't smell weird or anything and I suppose smelled brand new and all the install parts were there. The real test will be in January but so far so great. Oh and please make sure to measure before you buy this. I did and it really does matter.

I bought this to block off an unheated and poorly-insulated mudroom. It's easily maintaining a 20+ degree temperature differential between the heated and unheated sides, of a doorway with no actual door in it. It installs easily, and the magnetic closure down the middle lets you easily push through if your hands are full, but usually snaps back into the closed position once you're through. (Sometimes you have to nudge it to get the edges to fully come together, but you can do it with your knee, elbow, etc., without putting down whatever it was you have in your hands.) Great product, perfectly solves the problem I bought it to solve.

If placed correctly it works fantastic. Great material. Very thick. Magnets are actually big so they close pretty good once you cross through it. I did have to make sure I left enough height on middle so it wasn't too tight to cross through on top for my 6.1 husband. I had and event with my garage open with children running around and it was 40f outside. I put this on the door from garage going to our kitchen. Thankfully this helped kids run through door and the heat from inside the house not escape or house get cold from leaving garage door open! And even now with door closed I feel the difference. No draft coming from garage inside the house.

4 stars ONLY bc I just installed them today so I don't know their FULL potential just yet. However it seems promising. I live in Texas, it's HOT ALLLL year around. I purchased 3 of these for my living room window, my window is reaaaalllly wide. The sun rises and sets at this particular window, making my house ridiculous hot. Especially my living room, resulting in a very high light bill. I purchased these in hopes to improve the temperature in my house. As soon as I installed them on my window I felt an IMMEDIATE change of temperature making it noticably cooler. It's nice and dark in my house now and I love it. I will update if it improves my light bill or not. I did take before and after pics of just my regular curtain hung up, the temperature curtains I purchased installed, and lastly my regular curtains installed over the temperature curtains.

Very grateful for this product. It allows our winter loving dog to come and go as he pleases. Now I don't have to stand at the door freezing while waiting for him to finish making snow angles or just lying in a snowbank. It closes quickly and does a shocking job keeping the heat in and cold out. We've been using it multiple times a day for months, and there's no sign of wear or any product failure. The senior dog figured out very quickly how to use it and has been greatly enjoying it.

This door cover is top tier quality! It's heavy and sturdy! Easy to install and the velcro adhesive sticks to the surface and stays in place. It comes with thumb tacks as well, but we haven't had to use them. Not only is the quality of the material awesome, but the magnets are as well. When you open the cover the magnets automatically close it back perfectly in place! We no longer have the draft coming from our open door space. We love it some much, we plan to purchase another one of another area in our house.

I LOVE this magnetic door curtain! i had the screen for summer and then bought this thermal one for winter. Now, i keep this one up year round. This curtain blocks out every bit of sunlight that used to come through the wooden door window, so it is like walking into the mysterious Spare Oom Wardrobe. I walk through the panels and i can suddenly see light. While it is blocking out the light, it is also blocking out the Heat, Cold, flies, and mosquitoes. My dogs love the freedom to go in and out as they please because the door is always open now. On the flip side, the curtain keeps the air conditioning and inside heat IN the house. The magnets pull the curtain panels together pretty easily and consistently. I did add a couple of nails to the top of the panels to keep it firmly attached to the door frame. Sometimes the magnets will stick to my steel siding, but that is very minimal and barely worth mentioning. my daughter saw this at my house and bought one for her place. The installation was very easy. i would definitely buy this again and recommend it.
