It does not obscure the light. It went up easily, following the directions and watching a couple of videos. Definitely follow directions to anchor center point 1 cm higher than the top edges to give it the “ drape” it needs to magnetically close. I did need help in hanging, due to the wide with. This should do the trick in keeping the evening mosquitos from biting my extra sweet husband! Don’t hesitate to buy this! Totally pleased!

This is the second time ordering this product. The first one held up for a little over a year without ripping. We gave dogs who tend to scratch at it which lead to holes and us replacing it this year. The magnet seal held up very well. This was easy to install. The cost is inexpensive and we are okay with replacing it as needed due to it being easy to install and it being inexpensive.
