I bought this for a child. I ordered it because this had been a great pastime in my day. However, as with other products this was not as durable as I had remembered. I found that it was difficult to collect with the red pen included.

Bought for a 6 yr old grandson’s bday. He is at stage of having a great time with all types of magnets so thought he’d enjoy this. . He has as much fun as his mother did as a child & I did over 50 yr ago. He asked his mother where the button to erase it was. She showed him to shake it down & start over. He was impressed.
