I started taking this supplement because I had heard (via podcast) it was recommended for anxiety during perimenopause (I started taking 2 years ago at age 50, and will likely never stop!) I could tell a difference in how I felt within 2 weeks of taking just one capsule per day. I have read that magnesium is essential for many body functions as we age, and believe it is a good idea to take anyway, but the main take away for me is that it has improved or lessened the anxiety I was feeling. It is hard to tell if supplements are going to be effective or if they have a placebo effect due to lack of viable, quality ingredients, but I do stand by this one as being "the real deal" and recommend to friends. The price point is such that it can't hurt to try.

I’ve been using BiOptimizers Magnesium Supplement for a few weeks, and it’s been a complete game changer for my sleep, digestion, and overall wellness. I ordered this product because it had all of the different types of magnesium. And frankly I had gotten a little confused with all the articles and videos telling me what type does what and what type I should take. So I figured this would cover all my bases and give me the benefits of all of them, right? Well… sort of. One of the benefits to magnesium citrate, glycinate, or oxide is its laxative abilities. If you have issues that need that benefit, I’m sure it works great. However, if you don’t have need of that benefit, it can really cause some issues in your day. So I’m sure the product worked great for its intended purpose. The intended purpose just didn’t work for me.

These are really big pills. If you have trouble swallowing you might want a different method of taking this. Additionally, the dosage is 3 pills. Saying that and the reason I purchased this is because I read it would help with restless leg syndrome (rls). So far it's working great. An additional benefit is I'm sleeping so much better. Not sure if it's the Magnesium or if I'm just getting more sleep because my legs are not twitching all night. Either way, it's been great!

This is a great brand that helps grandma with restless legs. This brand helps me get to sleep. It helps my husband with the leg cramps. Having the 7 different forms of magnesium has many other benefits. Also, Amazon's prices beat the company's website prices.

Where do I start? Nausea during the day, all day. Feeling “off” throughout the day. Lots of going to the bathroom. So much so, it would wake me up in the middle of the night! Got to the point where there was nothing left and I was going clear. Constant uneasy feeling. Just didn’t feel like myself! Immediately after I stopped taking these, all was fine. No issues. I reached out to customer service and they were fantastic. Very responsive and professional and understanding. Hence the three stars.

I've tried several different magnesium products and this one is by far the best. It has changed my sleep quality immensely. I only have to take one at night and not only is my sleep more restful, I don't wake up in the middle of the night nearly as often. It is also a great product for muscle ache, cramps, etc.
