This is the only magnesium glycinate I’ve tried that actually helped me rest better at night. I take it with a meal to mitigate stomach discomfort. I have taken several brands without success and so I am happy to have found this. I will say that the pills are large. If you have trouble swallowing that’s something to consider (use a pill cutter). It doesn’t bother me. I will definitely stick to this brand.

I received this bottle of magnesium tablets yesterday, so I cannot review the actual effectiveness at this time; however, I was compelled to share my research with the Amazon community after accepting my delivery. As a person who is extremely mindful of the quality of supplements, I searched everywhere for a magnesium supplement that is chelated, highly bio available, and not buffered (usually with cheap magnesium oxide); I found that this particular bottle of magnesium meets all my requirements and is priced better than all the lesser-quality alternatives. Yes, these tablets are huge and a little difficult to swallow at times, but that can be resolved by taking them slowly (one at a time) and positioning them so they slide down properly. All other aspects of this amazing product are as close to perfect as you can get. Thank you Amazon for producing this treasure and offering it at an excellent price. I only wish you would expand your supplement selection so that I can replace my TruNature/Kirkland Signature supplements with the Amazon brand. Keep taking care of your customers and we will keep taking care of you.

The magnesium glycinate chelate form is the gold standard for absorption and gentleness, and this delivers exactly what you'd expect. Why This Form Matters: Unlike cheaper magnesium oxide (which causes digestive upset and poor absorption), the glycinate chelate binds magnesium to amino acids. These pills are massive. My wife is taking extra magnesium while pregnant and we switched from Nature Made capsules to these pills to try to get the dose her doctor recommended with less pills but these are too difficult to swallow — we’re switching back to the capsules.
