The MAGID SparkGuard 1830 9 oz. Flame Resistant Green Welding Jacket is designed for workers who need dependable flame protection without the bulk or stiffness of leather. The SparkGuard flame-resistant finish is certified to ASTM D6413-99 and engineered to maintain protection through 50 industrial washes. Made from lightweight 100% cotton sateen, it's the jacket of choice for welders, fabricators, maintenance workers, and steel industry professionals who are on the job for hours at a time. The 100% cotton sateen construction also means the jacket breathes, making it an excellent choice for warm environments compared to heavier welding jackets. At 30" in length, the 1830’s light construction allows for a full range of motion. Leather- reinforced, non-reflective metal snap closures at the placket and wrists keep the jacket secure, while set-in snap-closure sleeves stay put during overhead and reach work. The riveted, inside breast pocket protects small items from heat exposure and keeps them close at hand, as well. The signature light green color is recognized across many welding and fabrication programs, making PPE compliance easy to verify on a busy shop floor.
