I actually really like how cool this retro console looks, the touch screen is highly responsive and the screen is bright, it looks very nice. The buttons feel responsive when playing, easy to navigate the apps and overall feels like a well done emulator. The 64 GB included a large selection of games and all of them have been running very smoothly. I haven't had any issues with buffering or games crashing. The console is lightweight in size and good when I was traveling. It has a very interesting vertical look but I loved it so far it's been such a joy to play with, lots of fun games that I grew up playing and connecting it to my monitor makes it much more entertaining, I can recommend this one for DS games

Pros: -Great battery life -Solid performance -Quiet buttons all around -Very good and sharp screen -Comfortable to hold -Touchscreen -Great membrane D-pad and buttons -Very durable feeling plastic body Cons: -Screen is a bit small, too narrow specifically -No Mic Would definitely recommend this handheld if you want a dedicated DS/arcade machine.

I wanted something classic, portable, and easy to use for my daily commutes and for long plane travel. This is designed for vertical games that are more arcade-style. All of the controls are built in, the screen is beautiful, and if I want to take things a bit further I can customize it myself. I'm absolutely in love!

I was so excited for a handheld to be able to play NDS games with a native aspect ratio! Until now, the best experience playing DS games has been.. to use a DS. While you can emulate on the PC, the lack of touchscreen is challenging. While you can emulate on a phone, the lack of external controllers intended for vertical use is challenging. What sucks about a DS is that I can’t sync the progress via Retroarch, so if I start a game, I am forced to play the entire game on that device. I was so so so excited for this console.. I set it up, and was disappointed immediately. Using retroarch, there are no cores able to run the my favorite game, Spirit Tracks at full speed. We’re talking 30% to 80% emulation speed, even while rendering in-game menus. I was also shocked that the game didn’t fill the entire screen….. why go through the effort to make a handheld console for the DS without the right aspect ratio? Also the screen is literally smaller than the DS I was able to use a native emulator that came with the device to achieve 100% emulation speed for DS games, but not with retroarch. Retroarch was the entire point of purchasing this device for me. I rarely leave bad reviews, but after several hours of gaming, I’m going to return this product. It: - Can’t play DS games on retroarch - Has a smaller screen than a DS - Has an aspect ratio mismatching the DS - Costs the same as a used DS My advice: hold out for someone to come along and make a proper DS handheld emulator, or just buy a DS.
