We just purchased a new headboard and frame and after placing our 15" mattress on the frame, the mattress was way too low so we needed to find a box spring that would give us a little bit of lift without breaking the bank. We had previous ordered another version of this box spring two years ago for another bed and we have been so happy with it that we didn't hesitate to find another one. This box spring has worked out great. The assembly is easy but it does take a little time, which is to be expected since there are quite a few pieces involved. Once assembled it is very easy to place on the bed frame. We then placed our king sized mattress on top and it gave us the exact height we were looking for. Because it is made of heavy gauge metal, it does not bend which is impressive since the box spring on this bed frame has about 15" with no support at the end of the bed (there are no cross rails to support the last 15" of box spring). I was so nervous sitting on the bed for the first time but it does not move and it makes absolutely no noise. We have been sleeping on it for about 3 weeks and it continues to be comfortable and silent through tossing and turning and large pups jumping on and off the bed. Our only complaint on this box spring is the protective cover - it only covers the top and sides of the box spring and not the bottom so the bottom of the box spring is exposed underneath the bed. We were not ok with this since we do not want anything crawling up under our bed and setting up a web or having dust collect on the rails. To remedy this we put the cover on upside down - we covered the bottom and the sides and left the top exposed, and then put our mattress over the top. It worked out just fine but it would have been nice to get a cover that completely wraps the box spring. Again, this is a minor issue and the fix was simple so no stars off for this. Overall, this is a sturdy, comfortable, well made box spring and we're very happy with the purchase.

This is a nice modern platform for supporting today’s heavier mattresses, especially latex and memory foam. Many newer mattresses require fairly specific support spacing if you don’t buy the manufacturer’s matching foundation, so this was a much less expensive way to get the proper support. I installed it inside a newly rebuilt bed frame that I had already beefed up to modern standards. Once assembled, this thing is built like a tank. This was my first time putting one together, so I took my time and did the entire job myself with only two hands. It took me roughly 2 1/2 hours, although I was assembling it inside the bed frame rather than against a wall or on the floor. I’ve added photos of my build. One important tip: the tools included with it are pretty much a joke. Do yourself a favor and have a 10mm wrench, a small socket wrench, a T25 Torx bit, and a hand driver available. I would not use an impact wrench or a high-powered drill/driver because it would be very easy to strip the threads. The blue material on the hardware that some reviewers mention or complain about is threadlocker, which is actually a good thing. It adds some resistance during assembly, so having decent hand tools makes the job much easier. They also include extra hardware for each type of fastener, which is a nice touch if you happen to lose one. The fabric cover is pretty straightforward. Think of it like putting a fitted bottom sheet over a mattress. It slips over the metal foundation and attaches with strong Velcro around the base. I found it easiest to secure it at roughly the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock positions first, then work my way around the rest of the frame. Two people would make this part easier, but it can definitely be done alone. Overall, I’m very happy with it. It provides a very solid, properly spaced foundation for a heavy modern mattress without having to spend considerably more on a proprietary base. Best of all with this modern platform/bed design my latex Matress doesn’t have lanes after 13yrs of use. I was just going to go out and buy a new mattress thinking that was the problem. The problem was a bed frame built for a box spring and lighter mattress ie older coil designs. Now it’s flat and firm as if it was new. Likely add a 1” topper for side sleeping but on back feels great. PS. Putting bed frame together is fairly intuitive. The parts are well marked but the instructions are a little thin. I read that a couple put it together in 15-20 min. that’s not realistic first time IMHO

I’ve become ever more skeptical of online shopping in recent years but this flat-pack box spring not only met my expectations but actually impressed me. It was well packaged, easy to set up, and is sturdy as can be. Not to mention half the price of a traditional wood box spring. I really appreciate the spare parts because I sent the nuts flying while opening the package. So that backup came in handy. It’s a perfect fit for our cal king and light weight for what it is.

Purchased the queen box spring assembly. 5-star rating for the overall product itself. It is about 59-1/2" wide which sits within a 60" bed frame nicely (your bed frame should typically have a 1/2" lip on each side rail for the box spring to lay upon). Construction seems sturdy, I see no obvious reason it should or would fail structurally, time will tell. 3-star rating for assembly. The premise is simple, however, count on crawling around all over the floor like a kid in order to assemble (not so easy for this old body of mine!) The screws are coated with some kind of blue-vinyl on the threads, making it difficult to thread the nuts on the ends of the screws by hand or even with the useless cheap wrenches supplied. Do yourself a favor right from the start - find a 10mm wrench, and a cordless drill with an allen wrench attachment. It will save you from much displeasure, just do not tighten down all the bolts until everything is assembled. The corner pieces are a complete hassle. I had no less than 3 screw holes that were not threaded properly from factory. I needed to improvise, rethread them. Needless to say, I had choice words for this company by then! Cover is nice material, though it should have a better fastening system than just 2 pieces of velcro. This will NEVER hold over time. Looks good though after assembly, so I split the difference in rating the product and gave it 4-stars.

I bought this box spring to elevate a platform bed. Product was thoughtfully packaged in a way that it was not damaged yet was easy to unbox without a lot of excess packaging materials. It was not complicated to assemble. In terms of the box spring itself, it is solid. Material is of a good quality and the assembled product is sturdy and stable. Thus far, no issues with it being squeaky. I bought a full size one and it fit the bed and mattress perfectly.

It’s a good and sturdy box spring for a decent price. I put this together on my own, and found it very easy. It did take me over an hour, but that’s with pauses in between putting it together. It’s also quiet, no noise at all when moving around. I do want to mention that the first set I received was missing a few parts, but I was able to send the first one back and get a new (complete) set a few days later. So don’t be quick to toss the box and packaging before checking to see if all parts are there. (Photo is of underneath box spring with the mattress on top.)

This box spring is soo sturdy and good. It was just challenging to assemble coz i ddnt know that i should use both tools on locking in the bolts. My thumb is in pain while locking the bolts without using the tools, coz i thought it was not working. But i realized how to use the tools when i was at the last two bolts to lock. 😭 Anyways, this box spring is really good and tall too! Now my bed is high. 🥹😅
