First thing to note is I'm not a fan of the instructions - they look nicer than they are helpful. This was our first time using a home espresso machine, thankfully an expert nephew was over and jumped right in, although even he had to check the instructions more than once. Instructions are too wordy and skip around. Okay, that said.. NOTE: Yes, that's a tea cup in our photos. It's handy and we're putting our 30+ years old wedding china to good use haha. PROS: - Very compact on the counter, and it looks very cool too. Statement piece of equipment. - Very well made accessories, all are super sturdy and high quality. Has everything needed but the espresso grounds and cups. - Super fast heating, this machine is ready to go almost instantly. Turn it on, lights blink and stop when water is ready. Very quick. - Very good espresso with even basic espresso grounds. The more we use this, the better it is. - Strong grip to the counter top - this absolutely will not slide, move, or shake. (Be sure to LIFT it to move it - this can not be slid around on the counter top). - Milk frother works very well. We don't use this often, but it's an impressive touch when we do. - Water reservoir is generous - won't need filling often, especially for single cups. - Light touch controls - Digital display during Manual mode (Watch carefully with this mode! - Flood Alert) - 1 and 2 cup buttons are measured amounts - machine will quit when the process and correct amounts are dispensed. CONS: - Instructions are wordy, they could use some tweaking to make them simpler and to the point. My husband has installed engine parts with less wordy/confusing instructions. Sometimes clear and simple is better. - STAND BY when using "MANUAL" button - that will produce espresso until the button is touched again to turn it off. It's good for making a specifically controlled amount, but it's not good if someone hits that thinking that's it's an Auto button instead - it's not, it's a Manual Start/Stop button. Stand by to avoid an unintentional significant espresso flood (even though there's a small reservoir beneath to catch spills) ... show more

I have been wanting an espresso machine for a long time. My drink is an Americano and depending on where I go, the amount of money I spend on two shots of espresso with water is crazy. Therefore I was so excited to get this little machine. So first off, I would consider this to be a mini machine, not a huge machine like some espresso makers are. I like how compact it is, doesn’t take up a ton of space on my coffee counter. This comes with two instruction booklets, and I would advise reading them in detail. I completely forgot to take the rubber stopper out of the water dispenser and then I had water everywhere on my counter. So don’t fail like I did. Take the stopper out and remove any and all plastic wrap on this machine. This comes with a coffee scoop as well as an extra mesh container plus a stamper. Once this is powered on, the lights flash and again, learn from my mistake, wait until all lights are solid. When the lights are flashing the machine is heating up, so while I was pressing buttons etc not understanding that the machine wasn’t quite ready. Once the lights are solid, then place the coffee into the handle and lock it into place. I will say, this part is challenging. The handle only fits up into the espresso machine in one way, but it takes some practice to get it perfectly lined up. Again, somewhat of a learning curve and it’s getting easier every time I use it. Can make one or two shots of espresso. Only take seconds. I purchased Starbucks espresso roast and it takes exactly like at the store. The back of the machine is where the water reserve is, super easy to take that off and fill it with water, I personally use distilled water as I don’t want any build up with tap water. Easy to clean. Compact. Easy to use once you get it figured out. Overall love this. The size of the machine is awesome. I’m so happy to have this espresso machine and I will definitely tell my friends to get this as well. I feel like I’m ready to open my own coffee shop. ... show more

    • As good, if not better than a coffee house espresso
Like most people these days, it is a treat to go to a coffeehouse and enjoy an espresso, cappuccino, or perhaps a latte. Making a cup of coffee from a K-cup or pod is great and almost perfect, but they are just not the same as what a good espresso machine can make. Coffeehouses spend thousands on their equipment so to get a quality drink at home for under $150 is great. This countertop home model does a great job not only on making the espresso but the steam wand is great. It did take me a couple of attempts to understand how to make the steam wand work, but after that everything was fine. ... show more

    • OMG - Make your own pumpkin lattes!!!
This machine is GREAT!!! Who needs Starbucks? We've been making lattes using regular coffee grounds rather than espresso beans, which has worked fine. The steamer works great. I'm vegan, so we've been using oat milk, and it froths up really well. We've been using the Oat pumpkin spice that is made for Baristas, and this machine can make it like a pro! My only complaint is that there are various attachments and tools, but nothing to hold them in. I would have liked a drawer or a container for storage. ... show more

I had an espresso machine years ago and I stopped using it because of how difficult it was to get a good coffee out of it. I didn’t plan to get another one until I saw this. I’m so glad I gave it a chance. This machine is so easy to use and will pay for itself in no time. I love the small size of this machine. It doesn't take up a lot of counter space. I've had these machines before so was very familiar with how they work but the instruction manual is very easy to follow. It doesn't take long to brew the perfect drink and froth the milk, all in one. This now sits next to my coffee and cappuccino maker. I can truly brew up anything that a barista can!
