It's not as soft as I thought it would be and it only hangs over a couple of inches on each side of my king bed so if you sleep with a blanket hog, this one might not be the one for you. But I just don’t. I feel kind of strange rating. It’s components with five stars, but only giving the overall blanket three stars, but that’s the way it is. It is soft, which is a plus, but there is almost no warmth to this, so I have a blanket over the top of it, so it really doesn’t matter how soft it is. Run very warm to hot all of the time, so for me to say that, there’s no warmth means something. It is very lightweight, to the point of being too lightweight. Even in the summer, I want some thing with a little bit of weight to it, but that breathes so that I’m not hot. I don’t know how this will work in the summer, but I’m not confident that it will be comfortable as a blanket even though it might keep me cool, if that makes sense. one of the big things, and this is a pet peeve, is that it is the same dimensions as they have always been making blankets and sheets. Yet now we have extra deep mattresses, I happen to have a dual pillow top queen. This blanket barely goes down a few inches on each side. I could have gotten the next size up, but if you look at the dimensions, I would’ve gotten another 6 inches in length, but not the width that I would need. I kept it. I needed a new blanket, desperately, and there is really nothing wrong with this, except for my own preferences. For me, this is a three star item. If you do not have the same issues as I have mentioned above, this may be a five star item for you. ... show more
