I opened it on my porch and gently tipped the chair down and rolled it into my living room. Then i opened the bottom of bag and the base was wrapped in starafoam and easy to take off then took bag off and set the up. It was splendid how easy for me to open. I was so nervous to buy these chairs because you never know what you’re getting and I’m picky :). I needed chairs for the other side of where my sectional is because we host a lot… I had some chairs in this location before but they didn’t swivel and the backs were high so it would block the view of the TV if you were on one side of the sectional. I hated that my family would move the old chairs around because it made my living room look like I was moving every day. I AM SO HAPPY now! These were a little lower profile than I was expecting but it works beautifully because they can face the couch without covering the tv view PLUS Zulu can swivel around to watch tv in those chairs PLUS you can swivel in the colder months to warm yourself in front of the fireplace! PERFECT! To get an idea of the back height, the pillows pictured on them are 20x20 pillows. They are very comfortable to sit in. Thick cushion in the seat and fair amount of cushion everywhere else. The nail heads are placed in sturdy and even. I’m super impressed! I HIGHLY recommend you buy these! Also delivery was amazing. They are packed in a protective cover and they have foam padding for the swivel. You just cut the bottom of the box open and turn over gently and pull the box off and ready to go! A very neutral fabric, with large polished silver nail heads. Overall, aesthetically, I like it. And it’s the perfect size for a smaller space. My husband and I visited 6 furniture stores looking for 2 swivel accents chairs to place by our fireplace. We were sticker shocked! When did furniture get so expensive? We were also very disappointed with the quality of the chairs we were looking at considering the high prices. Flimsy light weight chairs that when you sat in, caused large gaps on both sides of the cushions! We almost settled for chairs that were 650.00 each not even including tax and shipping yet. So glad we decided to wait! Based on reviews I ordered these chairs. OMG! These are not “put together” chairs and they arrived packaged so incredibly well. The media could not be loaded. We’ve had these Madison Park swivel chairs for four years and they look just as great as when we first bought them! Depending on the seasonal theme, we add a touch of color and design with a throw blanket and or a pillow. When people come over to visit, they gravitate toward our swivel chairs because they are very comfortable and cozy. The size is just right and fit kids and larger adults well.
