The Madison Park Galen Basket Weave Light Filtering Roman Shade offers a simple and convenient update to your home decor. This blue roman shade features a basket weave texture base fabric that creates a natural look and feel. A thermal foambacking on the reverse provides energy efficiency and enhanced privacy. The cordless retraction mechanism makes it easy to open and close the window shade throughout the day, while the detachable fabric face allows for easier assembly and cleaning by lightly shaking or dusting. Though detachable from the hook and loop fastener, the top face fabric is NOT fully removable. Ready to install right out of the packaging, this roman shade can be hung inside or above the window pane allowing you to find the perfect fit for your home decor. Each shade is also OEKO-TEX certified, meaning it does not contain any harmful substances or chemicals to ensure quality comfort and wellness. Shade measures 64-inches in length and comes in 8 width options to suit multiple standard window sizes; each roman shade is sold as a single and comes with a printed instructional guide as well as an instructional video available on site. Bought several of these for a living room and bathroom. Pretty happy with the shades themselves—they raise and lower smoothly and overall the quality seems pretty good, especially for the price. The mounting hardware was a challenge, though—the screws provided are very cheap and I had multiple heads snap off before I just switched to my own fasteners (even with pre-drilled holes and using a hand screwdriver). Also some of the mounts were bent, though I was able to bend them back with pliers and get them to work. ... show more

All I can say is wow. Literally put up 1 minute . Did inside mount. Push button take up and down. But the blind in itself . 2 layers you're definitely get some thermal barrier . 2 ND picture just showing the pull down handle. But you still just grab bottom .

After installation of 2 side by side, it was obvious they were uneven in the retracted (open) position. This may not bother some people, but it would drive me crazy, so we took down and returned.
