I absolutely adore this coat. I've gained about 50lbs in the past couple of years after being diagnosed with stage 4 Ovarian Cancer and needing to have a major hysterectomy. While I'd originally lost a ton of weight while going through chemo (& I started out very thin), after I had the hysterectomy it literally threw me into menopause and I suddenly just started putting on weight for the first time in my life. So I have a closet filled with mostly XS or S clothes, coats included. I wanted something warm b/c it's still been chilly outside but not like an actual down winter coat type thing. This coat is absolutely PERFECT for that. It's warm but not TOO warm, the length is great at covering almost your entire body, like wearing a blanket kind of, and it's especially perfect for my area because I live in New Jersey but right by the water and it tends to get very windy and this coat definitely keeps the wind at bay. It's also super comfortable and great for layering. I ended up getting a Medium and it's huge, if you're looking for it to fit snugger, def size down but for me this size is perfect. For reference I'm 5'5" & about 155lbs. And actually I have a friend who normally wears a size L or XL in coats and she wore it today and said she was shocked it fit her perfectly too & that she loved it so much, she was going to get her own! She was remarking on how beautiful the color is too, I got the dusty rose color and it kind of reminds me of rose gold which I'm obsessed with. Oh & the hood is great too! I haven't had the issues that others have seemed to w/ the zipper, it normally works fine for me though every once in awhile it does get a little wonky and hard to zip but overall it's not an issue. I also had a weird stain show up recently, I think it might be lipstick and you can't really see it when I'm wearing it, just when I take it off. I tried spraying a stain remover on it but it didn't work. Hopefully it will come out in the wash though if not it's not the end of the world 🤷♀️ I would say the only downside to it is it's so big & not fitted so it makes me look absolutely enormous, esp when I'm wearing a lot under it, but I honestly don't care all that much, not enough to take a star off. It's just more about being comfy for me & so I just won't wear it on any dates (if I ever go out on any dates anytime soon which I'm not planning to anyway lol). But yeah all in all, this is a great coat ESPECIALLY for the price which you can't beat! Oh & last but not least, I just threw in a video where I'm wearing it even though you can only see the top of it b/c it's a video of me getting kisses from a dog I walk. I was feeling too lazy to actually model it and that was the only picture or video I already had where I was wearing it so I figured that's better than nothing :)

Well, I didn't listen to reviews and I went with my suggested size which was a medium. Totally had to return and get a small. And it's still roomy enough to layer and move around very comfortably. If you're a petite girl, I am sorry to say you will swim in this even in a small. Which is unfortunate because we all deserve nice things no matter our size. ANY way, the coat is warm and has some weight to it which feels so good. Comfy large hood with great drawstrings and it even keeps the rain of off my glasses and its nice and long. The blue is lovely and cheerful without being too much :) I'm so very happy with it and I think it's a good price for what you get. For reference I'm 5'4'' 150lbs.

I read reviews that said to size down. But based on their size chart they recommended a 2x for me. I have lost 30# but still wear 2x in some things and yet 2x is starting to get big in certain brands. I decided to get the 2x. Well, it’s just too big! I can grab the tummy area and pull it away from me about 3-4 inches. I will be returning it as this also makes me look bigger than I am. We don’t want that do we? Now I’m torn as to do the 1x or Xl? Aside from the sizing issue the coat itself is really nice. Because I’m not keeping it I can’t say as to how warm it is because I didn’t wear it outside. The material feels nice and not cheap. It is long and comes down on me about mid calf. It’s comfortable and not stiff feeling when bending arms etc. Zipper seems good, pockets are good, hood is good. I think it’s an overall nice jacket if I can just get my size dialed in. For reference I am 5’6 and weight 244 pounds. Update: waiting for my replacement in a smaller size but just wanted to add that the delivery for this coat is horrible! The first jacket was delivered 3 days late. I know it happens but still annoying. Same thing is happening with my new order for a smaller size? Was suppose to be delivered on a Friday. Then it changed to Saturday, and now saying Sunday?! Terrible with this company!

I was really hoping that other reviewers were right about this coat running large. I am a petite, pear shaped woman…5’1”, 148 lbs and 45” hips. So I was worried the medium I ordered wouldn’t fit over my hips. It does! And it’s not too snug. I was afraid that if I had to order a large, the rest of the coat would be gigantic on me. But the medium is perfect, comes to about 4” above my ankles. I hope that won’t be a problem in snowy Vermont. But I wouldn’t wear this out snowshoeing anyway. It does have some weight to it, because it’s not down. The pockets are huge…maybe almost a foot deep? And it has a bottom up zipper so it will be more comfortable for driving. The hood is not detachable, and there is no faux fur collar. I can’t really say about the warmth yet, as it is almost 60° today. But I’m very happy with the coat!

This is a keeper! This coat is very well made, PERFECT weight, with a sturdy, easy to use zipper, and snaps! Zips from top and bottom. Wonderful, deep zipped pockets. Size wise, yes... I'm glad I read the other reviews, as it does run large. I'm usually a medium, as I am 5.6" and 130lbs. So... decided to order a small, as some suggested. Glad I did! Thank you all! I have room when layering a fleece jacket or vest, but also comfortable alone with a long sleeve. I LOVE the length... as it's about 3" below the bottom of my knees. The other thing that I very much like, is the hood is not - huge. I had ordered from another brand, and no matter what I tried, the hood swamped my entire head, and had to return. This is a GREAT purchase all the way around!

The sleeves are a little long but I was looking for a new winter coat to replace my old neon green ski parka. Wanted a longer coat for warmth. I don't ski anymore. Zipper is a bit harder to line up and pull down into start position, to zip up. Sometimes I give up and just cross my arms and run outside to let my dog potty. This should not have to happen. The color is not as bright as what is pictured, so I was a bit disappointed. I would have gone with a brighter color in the red/orange family. Like the quilt stitches to prevent the "warmth fabric" inbetween the outside and inside of the coat from shifting. ( I had a down filled ski parka that over the years has pushed down move around and fall to the bottom. It wasn't quilted. It had a fox fur collar. I learned about the cruelty of picking down feathers and would never ever buy anything real fur ever again! Regret not knowing sooner.). Buying a coat that has no animal parts or products on or in it is essential to me. This is why I bought this coat. I don't know about it's waterproofness as I haven't tested it out during cold winter days, as I got it in early spring.

Love this jacket. It is super long, it comes down past my calves and I have a 33 inch inseam. I ordered up a size so I would have plenty of room for heavy clothing when it snows. I should not have done that because it is large for its size. I wore it on a very windy day and noticed that the wind will blow up the sleeves, it doesn't have the elastic cuffs that some jackets have. It only has two outside pockets but they are large and actually zip closed, which can be convenient. I have been walking the dogs in the jacket with a sweatshirt underneath in the morning, it's been about 37 degrees fahrenheit, it has been very warm and easy to walk in with the two-way zipper and the buttons in the back of the jacket.

I like it. It's very warm. Very long. Comes midi length. Very hard to zip up. Still haven't got it zipped up. I use the snaps but air gets in there. Haven't worn it outside and super heavy duty cold yet. I wish I could zip it up but it's very complicated cuz it's way too long but it fits me well. I bought two sizes under I bought a medium instead of a extra large. I thought it was made very well. No rips, no tears. Might just use the snaps. Hard to bend down and zip it up when it's way down there. LOL! Unless you can zip up from the top, there are two zippers on it. I don't quite understand that I've got to lay it out and take another look at it cuz I don't know how anybody could zip it up from below their knees
