  • Great healing balm!
Color: Frankincense & Lavender
Great balm - smells so nice and feels nice too!

  • Perfect product, healing tattoo, happy skin Perfect product, healing tattoo, happy skin
Color: Frankincense & Lavender
Stuff smells great. Stays on thick so I can feel I’m being moisturized while healing. Not too much and still plenty. Jar will last for many tattoos. It does have a grainy feeling however I rub my fingers in circles in the can to loosen it up and it rubs right in. My photo is 6 days after the tattoos. Didn’t think to show on day 5 after o took my plastics off however, they looked the same yesterday. I haven’t had any of the peeling I have seen others deal with. Don’t know if there are other similar great products since this is my first time using a tattoo balm but this will be my go to because it works great, smells great, and for the amount I am using and being able to use for future tattoos, price it great. Cheaper options however you pay for what you get… but still didn’t break the bank. Perfect product. ... show more

  • It’s just Ok.
Color: Frankincense & Lavender
Very greasy. I also feel like it only works on rather new work, I did not get the results they state. Also, it’s gritty. It does smell nice…

  • Tough to apply Tough to apply

Purchased the Mad Rabbit Tattoo balm as I wanted to test out several aftercare products for my new tattoo. I was using the Hustle Butter balm initially, but found it just sits on my skin and doesn't absorb even when applying a very thin layer. I was hoping Mad Rabbit would perform better and believe it does with caveats. While it absorbs much better than Hustle Butter, the balm itself is very hard in the tin. It takes some effort before the balm melts to the point where it becomes easily spreadable. My tattoo is pretty healed at this point so I don't mind rubbing the balm in, but if this were a fresh tattoo I would be very apprehensive having to apply that much pressure on new ink. Including a picture for reference comparing Mad Rabbit (left), Hustle Butter (middle), and Tattoo Goo (right). Hustle Butter and Tattoo Goo have similar consistency and is easy to scoop out of the containers. Mad Rabbit looks like dried paste and you can see dried clumps on the top layer still. Overall, I prefer Mad Rabbit as an everyday balm, but would not recommend for aftercare due to the texture out of the tin. ... show more

  • Makes your tattoos come to life again. Makes your tattoos come to life again.
Color: Frankincense & Lavender
Love this stuff. It’s smells really good, very natural and works really well. Lotion on your tattoo will make them look great, problem is, the lotion will eventually do its job and be absorbed by your skin and your tattoos go back to “normal”. This balm keeps your ink looking great all day. You can feel it when you have it on, but it just feels moisturized, not greasy at all. You get this nice pop without looking shiny. I love it. These aren’t the best pictures, and with most everything, pictures don’t do it justice but trust me, these make your tattoos skin look great. And no, I was NOT gifted this stuff. I paid full price and this is my honest review. ... show more

  • Not for me.
Color: Frankincense & Lavender
I loved the smell of this balm but I did not like the gritty feeling it left on my skin. No matter how much I rubbed it in, there was always a gritty feeling.

I love this tattoo balm! I’ve been using it since my tattoo healed; I finished my half sleeve December 2024. I used the gel after each session until it healed, which really helped get me past the itchy phase of healing. I love how soft it makes my skin feel and how vibrant my red still looks after application. This really does help preserve the color contrast of my tattoos. 💜💜 ... show more
