The bike is heavy. Once you unlock the speed restriction you can go at least 35 mph. Easy to assemble. Make sure you tighten everything down and recheck later. Delivered about a week ahead of time. My boney butt needs a different seat, but no complaints. I bought the front and rear rack and can go anywhere! I've had it to 39 on a slight decline. I really needed the step through frame because my right hip won't let me lift my leg over the seat. It probably won't be good for tight trails because of the weight but I have taken it off road and it does good. I'm 71 and kind of feel like a kid again, except when people bitch at me an bike paths I can just laugh and tell them to piss off!! ... show more

My Apias is great! I’m 72 and haven’t ridden in a few years. Just lost interest because of strenuous peddling up hills. This bike has really eliminated that problem and I can take those hills with ease now. I still peddle and enjoy the exercise. This bike is a brute! It’s built like a tank! So stable and comfortable, handles rough terrain easily. The features and controls have been well thought out. Assembly was very easy with easy to follow instructions. For you seniors, my advice is take it slow, read the manual, watch the video’s on Apias app. Go at low speeds at first, get to know the controls. Love this bike, good looking and great for off roading with the fat tires. Very comfortable, long battery life before charging. Only negative is the weight. I can’t lift it on my own without assistance. So hauling to a park/trail by myself is not possible.

Well made ebike. Assembly was straight forward. I use the e-bike on steep hills which it handles perfectly. I particularly like the power walk assist as the ebike is rather heavy. Love the 4” fat tires. As a senior rider I appreciate the step through frame.

with so many ebikes out there which one do you chose? this ebike was reasonably priced and came with some extras (free of charge). good choice of colors, good looking design, adjustable enough to fit a lot of different size riders. battery holds a charge for a long time. has plenty of power to move you along quickly, smooth ride. the only drawback is the weight of the bike. I'm ok with it but it is heavy but feels stable when riding. one thing to consider is how you're transporting. I put them in my truck so the weight isn't an issue ... show more
