I needed a mic boom that could attach to my desk and be tall enough to clear my monitor, and this one fits the bill perfectly. It was super easy to set up, feels stable, and holds the mic in place really well. The build quality is solid, and it’s a great value for the price. I also love that you can mount it on either the desk or the wall—I’ve got it on the desk right now, and it works great. It’s really helped improve my voice quality since I can get the mic closer to me. I’ve used more expensive booms from bigger brands, and while those do feel a bit more high-end, this one does exactly what I need, especially since I’m using a light shotgun mic. Now I can record at my desk with the mic just out of frame, about 6 inches from my face, and that’s exactly what I was looking for. The stand itself is sturdy and works really well for my setup. The arm is smooth and easy to adjust, and the clamp holds it securely without wobbling, even on my thick desk. I also like the built-in cable management—it’s a nice touch. The only downside is that the adjustment knobs are plastic, which seems like the weakest part. I’ve seen it holding heavier mics in the pictures, and I think it could work, but if you're using a larger mic, you might want something a bit more heavy-duty. For my setup, though, it’s been perfect!

Bought a microphone to up my sound quality but didn’t remember that I needed something to hold it so I needed something fast because I was being impatient. Came across this arm and said why not I can get it next day. It arrived fast, and I was able to get it put together quick and easy without having to read the instructions as it was pretty straight forward. Tools included. The clamp is strong and has held up for a few weeks now without sagging. It’s lightweight which is great and the area you can move it around in is ample. I have a limited area so I need to move things from time to time and the channeled arms let me tuck the cable in so there’s no chance of tangles or catching on things when moving, it helps a lot. It does come with wire clips that ‘fit’ in the channel but in my experience they don’t hold great so I added a few velcro strips and together it’s perfect. No sound when rotating it and the fact it’s a side mount is great because it fits well where I have no room for an over head arm. I would recommend this for anyone looking for quality that’s affordable.

I recently picked up a mic stand with the specific goal of having it reach over my wall-mounted monitors, and it's been exactly what I needed. It can extend high enough to avoid obstructing the view of my screens, which is perfect for my setup. Pros: Extended Reach: The stand’s arm extends well beyond my monitors, allowing me to position the mic exactly where I want it without interfering with the screens. This was crucial for my streaming and recording sessions, as it gives me a clean line of sight. Sturdy Build: Despite the extended reach, the stand holds steady. My microphone isn’t the lightest, but there’s no wobbling or sagging even at full extension. Adjustable Angles: The stand has flexible positioning options, which is a great feature for anyone who switches between sitting and standing or moves around while speaking. I can quickly adjust the mic angle without loosening the entire setup. Cons: Heavier Mic Limitations: If you have an especially heavy mic, you might notice a bit of strain. Mine works fine, but I could see it being a concern for heavier setups without additional support.

4 stars because it works great as an arm, it comes with different attachments for different microphones, the instructions are easy and it is easy to position. The only problem I have is how easily the pads at the bottom are unstuck and come off when you tighten the arm to the desk (which you have to make very tight to support even a $30 microphone). Although I plan to upgrade, I find it funny that my MIC arm costs more than the MIC itself.

This was super easy to set up and comes with different microphone options (mic clip, shock mount, direct connect). The pop filter is great too, with a connector that fits nicely into grooves for a secure hold. It’s a solid value overall. The mic stand is well-weighted, which is important since the device is small and wouldn’t stay in place otherwise. The build quality is really impressive—despite its small size, it’s made of solid metal and feels professional. I’ve got nothing but good things to say about it. Just a heads-up, there are mic stands out there without a boom stick. If you don’t need one, I wouldn’t recommend this stand because it adds bulk and takes up extra space. For me, though, the boom stick was essential, and it’s compact enough for my setup. It fits perfectly on my desk with my other gear. The cord clips are also super handy. Highly recommend!

This product is garbage. It's not strong enough to support the weight of the a Yeti Nano microphone. The clip provided don't secure the microphone cable and continue to fall out. Not worth the money at all.

This makes my meetings and calls so much better because I was leaning into the mic which gave me back pain at my desk. Now I can use this book to position the mic right by my face and still take calls and meetings. It attached easily and is very firm but easy to swing around. The ROM is very good and it can be small or long.
