These have been my favorite dish sponges for a while now. They hold up so well, and they dont start to stink after a while. I can use the same sponge for like 2 weeks and it wont smell and it still in pretty good Condition. These sponges are fantastic! I use them when washing dishes or pots and pans. I also use them on my kitchen countertops. They will last for months on end and, despite daily use, never, ever smell. They are apparently infused in their entirety with an anti-microbial agent that never wears off. The sponge part is soft, but it never cracks or splits, and the scrubber portion is effective on caked on messes. When I was down to my last sponge, I went to the supermarket where I had originally purchased them in order to get another pack, but it no longer carried them. I checked another supermarket to no avail. Then, I finally decided to check Amazon, and there it was! I bought another four pack, happy to have gotten them. I'd like to give these a 4.9 rating for one reason, but first, they're generally great. Rinses easily and cleanly, resists getting stinky, scrubber surface is effect and durable, etc. Here's the "but." I used one of the sponges without much attention to it and later picked it up to find it completely brown--except for the scrubbing surface. It looked like I had soaked it in strong black coffee. Otherwise, it was still fine. After experimenting with everything I could think of, applying various things to the corners of a new, used one, I discovered bleach, or anything with chlorine causes a reaction that turns the sponge brown. So--either don't use bleach products with it or ignore the color change. (Will try to include a photo) ... show more

This sponge is tough and does have a strong scrubber side...but that is all...i will buy no more....i could not disinfect it in microwave as it caused my microwave to spark !!!!...it never did that before on anything....an odor was produced like it was burning...lucky i was standing right there !.....also, the sponge part stains....you can not get them looking clean....i am on my second one...i use exclusively for dishes...i used to use ...and will have to use again it seems...the scotbrite scrubbies....i was looking for another brand as they use a strange smelly material now in the sponge part.....but...i will have to get past that i guess as have used for years with no problems like i had with this product...smh....i would not rec this product to anyone unless using in an outdoor or something like that where the above mentioned problems do not matter.....thank you ... show more

I was unaware how substantial the rough side of this sponge would be. It's akin to 30 grit sandpaper. I mean, it's *aggressive*. It's quite stiff unless run under hot water for a couple seconds, but that's no problem, I'd do that with any sponge anyways. I've found this style of Lysol sponge to have the best antimicrobial protection around - they last far longer than anything else I've tried without getting gross and stinky ... show more

I don't ususlly like using sponges but these were recommended to me by a friend and so i decided to try them. I'm so glad i did because it has really changed my view on sponges! Other sponges ive used have always been so smelly and gross after just a short period of time. These Lysol sponges never ever stink and they really hold up well! Use after use and they don't tare or loose shape or get dark and smell. These are the only sponges i'll use now, i love them and they really work! NO nasty sponge smell, they rinse really well and also have a great scrubbing side. They come in a 4 pack which lasts a super long time because each sponge lasts about 6 months or more. I change them out mainly because i feel like its a good habit to, but not because it feels gross. ... show more

These are hands down the BEST sponges money can buy. They last longer, clean better, don't absorb food or any of the grease or smells, or stains. I can use one sponge for 3 to 4 weeks, and it is still in pretty good condition when it starts to get softer and break down. We make some pretty intense, messy, meals with lots of prepararion... and I really scrub my dirty dishes! I only recommend these! ... show more

These sponges are very good. They stand up to Lysol claims of non-smelling which is an important decision when determining what type of sponge you’re going to use in your kitchen. If your looking for a good non-smelling durable sponge this a great choice. Buy in bulk as they are hard to find.
