So this is my second at home hair removal device and just for the cooling feature, I am giving it 5 stars!! The other hurt a little as it was not cooling and after a few times I quit just cuz of the pain. And you know that with these kinds of devices that you need to use it for a while for it to work. So as for will it remove all the hair I want removed? I don't know as only time and continued use will tell. what I can tell you is that it is cooling and that is a HUGE plus for me.

This is a compact and easy-to-use hair removal device. It cools the skin as the laser pulses penetrate to kill hair roots. It claims that after 8 weeks you only need to use it one to two times a month, which is very good, Rated for 999,999 plashes, and this should last you for a while!

I've tested a lot of IPL devices. And in the lower priced tiers, this is one of my favorites: It is reasonably powered (48W), offers "ICE" epidermal cooling, and seems reasonably well built. It is a bit chubby in size, which may not appeal to those with small hands. But, otherwise, this is an excellent choice in the sub hundred dollar IPL category. Specifics of this IPL device: ** Only performs hair removal ** Includes ICE skin cooling functionality ** LCD screen shows the number of flashes left and power level (1-5), plus whether ICE auto auto modes are on/off ** Rated for 48W (Medium/High) ** Unusually small IPL device, travel friendly and good for those who have trouble holding large items ** Rated for 999,999 flashes Using very slow-motion photography, I was able to capture a snapshot of the light (see photos). But the light duration is extremely short. You run the tool over the area where you want to remove hair and make sure you expose all the hair follicles in that region. You will not see any immediate results. The light signals your hair to stop growing, but it requires multiple treatments over several weeks before you will be expected to see results. Eventually, you should find a substantial reduction in the hair in the treated areas. In the box, you get the tool, a power cord, a pair of eye protection glasses, a cheap disposible razor, plus instructions. Ice functionality is another term for "Local epidermal cooling." This is local cooling of the epidermal region (surface skin) in the region where the IPL light pulse is being applied. The high-powered light can be irritating to some people, and cooling the skin in that region can reduce the immediate irritation. (It does not improve/decrease efficacy of the treatment). This IPL is reaonably priced and adds the "ICE" cooling functionality. It's also shorter than most of the many IPL devices I have evaluated, and would be preferable for travel on that account. Note that while it's short, it's somehwat more chubby than many, and those with small hands may find it uncomfortable to hold. Summary: Pros: ** Unusually short device will appeal to those who want an IPL device that is easier to pack ** Integrates epidermal cooling (ICE) ** LCD readout ** 48W power supply ** Reasonably priced for an IPL that includes ICE and higher power supply Cons: ** This IPL is pretty chubby and may not feel comfortable if you have small hands Note that this same IPL is sold under various brands on Amazon. You may want to shop around for best price at time of purchase.

Some people call these depressors or tongue depressors, some call them waxing sticks. Fopr my purposes (waxing_ I call them spreaders. And these are pretty good ones. The most important thing is to not detect or have any splinters in waiting as you go to use them. Having a splinter can not only be painful, but when hot wax is involved it could lead to an infection -- and that's the last thing you want when waxing. So it's critical that these wooden spreaders are solid and well made -- and they are for sure. I went through each one and didn't find a single potential splinter or actual splinter in the entirety of the order. They also take to the wax well... By this I mean they don't soak it up like some wooden spreaders do, they handle the delivery and spread smoothly, then scrape clean (again with no splinters). Overall I wish they were a tad bit bigger so they could handle more wax and spread the wax a little bit further (on a wider area) but this are pretty darn good. 4 stars.
