'We have a 12' X 40" enclosed vinyl liner pool with sand under the bottom making it not perfectly smooth. Ever fall we have a migration of hard small worms that if not remove, stain the liner. The cleaner would get hung up on any small imperfection. It also had difficulty climbing the incline from deep to shallow. I removed the 2 sweepers that go in the bottom intake openings and it worked to pick up all the worms. This pool vacuum saves me so much time and effort, not to mention shoulder and back pain. It was so easy to use, and was ready right out of the box! Nothing to put together, no messing with hoses or attachments, just drop it into my above-ground pool and let it do its thing. When done, I fish it out with the supplied hook that I attached to an old skimmer pole I had after my dog dug a hole in its screen. Let it dry for about an hour or 2, then plug it in to recharge it after dumping out all the yuck. I let this run in my shallow end of our inground pool and it worked like a champ. I let it charge overnight last night and it ran for about 50 minutes in the pool before it was done. For the price I would expect it to have a better charge. However, when I think about it being for an above ground pool and their size 60 minutes is all it should take to get that done. ... show more
