This tablet works great for most children's needs. The difference on this one is that the tablet has a REALLY nice screen in terms of resolution. Other than that it has very basic specifications which you should know before purchasing this. In terms of children usage, this tablet has ass needed specifications to run most of the children application available on android. This tablet does run on a bit of a stripped down version of Android. You can actually use that in the future if your child outgrows the children application. That being said, the device can be a bit slow due to have limited resources. It does have a quad core processor but it only has two GB of ram. Android 10 may be older but it is still very ram intensive just with basic usage. That being said, I would always recommend that you stick with the children's UI interface. It is more optimized to use the resources the best. It does a decent job for the most part. The tablet can run most kids games pretty well. I only see issues when switching between applications. There is a slight lag and possible crash between application changes. The screen size is 8 inches with pretty nice resolution. It actually handles 1080p compared to other tablets of this standard. It does come with a case preinstalled. It is a simple thick blue case. You can be sure that it is a protective, but it does make the tablet a bit heavier. The case does hug the tablet pretty tightly so you do not have to worry about it being taken out by a child. It takes the jaws of life to get the tablet out of the case. It does the job in protecting the tablet from drops and such. My nephew has dropped this a few times and so far nothing bad has happened. That being said, if it was dropped directly on an edged corner and hit the screen directly than it could be damaged. The blue case is too bright but it is easy to spot. It is also easy to get noticeably dirty easily. I would recommend just wiping it down every few days. One thing to avoid is using alcohol because I noticed the material starting to peel. The is a very sturdy stand on the back so you can prop up the tablet. The angle can be adjusted as needed which is nice. It does not take up too much effort to open but it holds into place pretty well. It is a pretty big stand so you should not have to worry about it not being able to support much weight. It has a camera and the thick case does not effect the lighting when taking a picture. The camera is not going to be the best quality but it gets the job done. The case being thick makes it is also harder to scratch the camera lenses. It is easy to clean with just a simple wipe. As stated before, it can run as a normal android tablet if you want it to which is nice as it could grow with the child. Unfortunately the tablet running on android OS can be a bit slow but it does do the basics like youtube and web browsing. The tablet will automatically boot into android for setup and you will need to go through this setup in order to setup the children OS for the first time. For the most part, the android user interface is pretty much just like any other android be a little older at android 10. Upon boot up, I would recommend removing as much unneeded application from the tablet as you can to improve the device performance. I usually have to remove it from the app store which is the easiest way in my opinion. I would say it is a basic tablet and it does the job for kids. The screen feels a pretty smooth which means you will get finger prints on it. The battery life is not too bad but I do notice that it does drain a bit faster than other tablets. I am not sure if it is because of the screen but it is not too much of a difference. It can last up to six hours on use. With standby, it pretty much needs a recharge every two days (possibly longer). The next thing about this is the children's app. There is an app that pretty much turns the tablet into a children friendly tablet. The parents have full control over it down to setting up a password to prevent someone from closing the application. After the initial setup, it will automatically boot and open into the application upon completion of the setup. The application is very smooth and works really well. It also does not require too much space as 32 gb was more than enough to store everything needed. The applications are pretty challenging depending on the game or application so be aware of that. Even for an adult, I had some issues with a few of these games because it required you to solve something in less than two to three seconds. This can be extremely difficult for a child but that is okay because they can learn. That being said this was like two out of several application that was a bit challenging. For the most part, it is a great tool to help kids learn and give them practice on things like memory. Some of the applications do require payment to get but you can avoid this if needed. It will require you password to purchase so you child cannot accidentally purchase it. I do wish they could have put youtube kids on the app so the kids have some access to that. You have to actually exit the application in order to get to youtube kids and I wish the app could be opened from inside the children app. I assume this just has to do with google not wanting to integrate their system into this. In order to exit the app though, the child will have to have to know the parental password so it kind of defeats the purpose. There are several games from math to basic shapes. Everything has a level pretty much and majority of them are free although I did see some applications you had to pay for. The sound quality is okay. The case is pretty thick and there is a very strong stand on the back so you can have it lean if needed. Overall I think this device for what the cost is and the usage is perfect. If you are trying to find a good tablet that you have more control over and provides your child with a ton of different learning tools this works. It will grow with them and eventually you could just turn it into a normal android tablet although it is not the most responsive tablet. Honestly it lags a bit. It will run basic applications but nothing that is ram intensive as it only has two GB. There 32 gb memory is more than enough for what most children application require. It can also store a few videos if needed but you will require existing the children application in order to view it. The tablet design is very cute and the screen touch responsiveness is actually pretty strong compared to other tablets. The one thing I REALLY like about it is the resolution. It is a very high compared to other children's tablet for the same price. I would say this is a good investment and this is a great way to help limit how much time your child spends on a tablet while also having control over what they can do on it.

This little tablet is great. I haven’t used all the things it does, but it offers all the functions we need for an infant to toddler age child. The sound and picture is good quality, it comes with an app that has tons of kid videos to entertain and educate. I downloaded a movie from Amazon Prime and it’s playing perfectly. I bought one of these tablets for myself and my daughter, who has a 4 month old. I got it mostly for car rides as my granddaughter isn’t fond of the car seat. I also got a Velcro headrest strap for the car. My granddaughter now can have something to focus on and distract her to make the car seat not so awful. You can’t beat the price for this tablet and what it offers. I call this a great score!

This is a perfect tablet for kids. I love that they have google play store on it for them to download games and YouTube kids. I also like the family link option so I have to approve what they are downloading. The only complaint is if they load to many games the tablet will lag so I just make the delete the games they aren’t playing before adding new ones

this is a great low cost option for kids tablets. i got it for the low price and the big thick case to protect it, and it did not disappoint. The tablet itself has a large clear screen, it is great for playing games, reading, watching videos. It is surprisingly fast speed and the setup of the home screen is simple enough for kids to figure out how to navigate all the feature, just by using it and not having to read the instructions. but it gives you a quick one page overview of how to get it set up, right on the screen when you open it. I like that the case is incredibly thick, we have dropped it quite a few times, and it hasn't sustained any damage to it. it also has a built in stand, with is very handy. AND you get a camera! The kids love taking pics, and it is good quality for all your get. I am very please with this purchase!

I bought the tablet for the specs of the camera (2MP front camera &5MP rear) but when the tablet arrived the camera is not as good as advertised (0.3MP front camera and 2MP rear camera). Other than that, tablet seems to be working good &the babe is happy but if I would have originally knew that, I would not have purchased.

The media could not be loaded. I've dealt with my fair share of glitchy, low-end tablets as a parent who is hesitant to spend a lot of money on a tablet because my son is clumsy. That isn't the case. It runs smoothly, has a beautiful look and feel, and the shell provides excellent protection for the tablet, much like the Amazon Kindle case. It's compatible with family link, which means I can monitor what's being watched, downloaded, and set time limitations. Overall, a fantastic tablet that I will definitely purchase again!
