I first purchased the pillow coverings that I fell in love with and tried to find other smaller rugs to match but didnt. Then I tried other pillow covers to match the other rugs but didn't. I finally decided to get this bigger rug and make it work. I'm glad I did. So happy with the end result!

The colors are vibrant but not too bright. I have the color scheme of beige, reds, blues, and dark brown and it blends very well. It is not for a boring room or a room you want to be subtle and quiet. It lightens whatever area it’s in and it’s noticeable. If you clicked on this rug then you should probably get it because it’s different and you’re gonna like it. Red is more of a maroon, but goes well with color scheme. ... show more

It's a very attractive area rug that's so much easier to take care of than the 2" thick shag rug it replaced. That old rug was very comfortable to walk on, but it was almost impossible to keep clean. It didn't help that it was a dark rug that showed up every bit of lint. Also, if you dropped something—like a small child or a pet—it was lost and you might never find it again, despite wails and cries for help. I can actually vacuum the dirt and detritus from this rug with incredible ease. This rug has a nice color scheme and looks great in my room and the multi-color design breathes more life into the decor. It's attractive and will work in a wide variety of styles because of the splashes of color it contains. I don't regret this purchase at all. ... show more
