It is significantly more substantial than those super thin, cheap nylon jackets; yet it is still lightweight and suitable for summer or spring. My only complaint is that there are no inside pockets and there is no button or Velcro on the outside lower pockets. It’s nice to be able to zip your phone away in rainy situations and be sure that it won’t fall out. I ordered two of these (one for myself and one for my daughter) and while the shoulders fit me perfectly on the large I had to return it and order an xl so it would zip comfortably. So maybe size up if you’re normally a large. I ordered both in yellow and we both love the color!
