This pan makes perfect size hot dog rolls, since we make smaller (5+ inch) hot dogs. If you cook long dogs, this pan is not for you. I also make our own plant based sausages for sandwiches which these buns hold perfectly too. It also fits perfectly in our small cheap toaster oven, so I can bake 6 buns without heating up the big oven. The pan is floppy a bit, like all silicon pans, but the edge all around is wide enough that even with mitts on, (it doesn't get too hot, but the oven does), I can put the pan in and take out of the small oven with ease- no pan underneath needed- it goes right on the oven rack. Lastly, it makes perfect little buns! It's the perfect width, depth and length for us, and deep enough to give real form to the buns as they rise. The rolls don't stick at all and It washes up FAST and easy. See.... perfect in so many ways! ... show more

I had my doubts, but I was pleasantly surprised. This works well, fits in my counter top oven, and clean up is very easy. Also, its perforated with small holes on the bottom to let heat to the bread.

I am excited to use this pan to make soft bread sticks and hot dog buns. It arrived quickly, was packaged well and the tray itself looks very nice. When I opened the Owners Manual I discovered many lovely looking recipes; all in German. The care instructions and warranty information was in English. Perhaps the recipes are translated elsewhere? I'd love to try them. :) ... show more

These are a really nice sub roll size. I purchased to have another shape to make my bread dough and it's easy to clean in the dishwasher. Having said all of this, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful. Maybe they have small weiners in Germany where this thing is made, because this pan makes very small buns. An American dog will stick out both ends. Maybe this is good if you are trying to cut back on carbs. The recipe book included has a recipe that makes buns that taste almost exactly like store bought.
