The Lumino blinds I ordered had been very carefully packed at the factory, and I was impressed by the quality and sturdiness of all the components of the blinds once I examined them. Moreover, the internet sites that specialize in blinds had MUCH higher prices for cordless units of the same size. I found the Lumino installation instructions to be reasonably clear but incomplete. Here are two tips that may be useful to other amazon.com buyers: (1) Install all the end caps as your first step. (2) Be very careful when you actually snap the blinds into place on the clips (very heavy-duty) that you have screwed into place inside your windows. On my first of three, I thought I had it right until I tried to move the slats up and down with the rotating mechanism. It didn't work properly and emitted a loud SNAP at the limits of its movement. I thought this blind was defective and would have to be returned. BUT, when I removed the blind from the clips, I discovered that I had inadvertently "hooked" the internal slat-adjustment rod with the clips on the blind's top bar. Hence, it couldn't function properly. This was easily remedied, and now all three blinds I installed function smoothly in every way. I will DEFINITELY order more Lumino blinds for the rest of my windows. Great product, great price! ... show more

I purchased two of these to use on our doors that have a 9 pane window built into them. The quality is great, and I found them very easy to assemble. I had a small issue with one of the two blinds and the company provided great customer service. My only recommendation is for those who are drilling into drywall, you'll have better results if you use a drywall anchor. ... show more

Good item quick install. Would have been easier if I could have moved the furniture from under the window, but that would have been a ton of work. You must use the brackets that come with the blind! I was replacing a blind and these are brand specific. As long as the mounting brackets are placed properly they should snap rt into place.. ... show more

All 8 blinds came in without delay, on time. They are sturdy and fit perfectly. The price is a little bit more than you'd pay at Walmart or Lowe's, but we have odd size windows and Lumino perfectly cut them to size and they fit all the way around the windows so there are no gaps where people can see inside. Our first order, WE made a mistake in measuring. Lumino customer service was absolutely terrific. They let us send all 8 back, refunded us, and then sent the correctly sized ones back out to us without any fuss or bother throughout the whole process. No extra charges or fees.
