Description

These modern custom cut Lumino 2” Faux Wood Cordless Blinds are safer and easier to use with no exposed lift cords, so no tangles. The 2" room darkening slats have a smooth surface. To use, simply grasp the center of the bottom rail and lift or lower it to your desired height. For light control, turn the wand to tilt the slats to let as much or as little light into a room as you prefer. They are ideal for installing in your bedroom, bathroom, kitchen, family room, dining room, office/den, basement, and even the garage. Included with this purchase is the blind, contemporary valance, wand, brackets, screws, drywall anchors and installation instructions. Tools you will need for installation: pencil, tape measure, drill or screw driver. Clean/dust with a dry or slightly damp cloth.

Arrived very well packaged with good clear installation instructions that were printed in a large font making them easy to read. The blinds were easy to install but giving only 4 stars because every single slat on the two 19” x 64 blinds had really rough, sort of frayed edges that I had to file with a nail file (since these were outside mount on french doors all the rough edges were very visible and looked awful). I almost wondered if these missed the “finishing” step at the factory. I also ordered two others at a larger size, haven’t installed yet but after inspecting those they seemed to be fine, or at least not as jagged and rough as the 19” ones. Filing is not a big deal for a few windows, other than all the white dust it creates. But if I had a lot of these to file it would be annoying and a very time consuming extra step. I purchased 3 of these blinds and what a nightmare installing each and every one. If it could go wrong, it did. Not one set of blinds hangs evenly, one side is slightly different level than the other, and it's not because the installation. The 3rd blind I attempted to install was going great, until I had to close and lock them in. It appeared they were locked in and I heard the closure, however, when I pulled the blinds down, the entire apparatus came slamming down on my head. I know have quite a large indentation on my head. Suffice it to say, nothing works on Yat blind because the line that keeps them together disconnected itself. Above is how it is being used currently. I'm aware that it needs to be returned, but I have no desire to make any effort to get it back to the seller. Frustration. Frustration. Frustration.. Even with the valances how the heck do you get those things to stay on properly. I am a fairly intelligent person and I own my own home and live alone and I tend to the majority of the maintenance that needs to be done around here and I have never encountered issues like I have with these blinds. Please know that I also ordered a couple of blinds from 2 other companies and had no issues installing or operating them. These blinds are very pretty once installed, but not worth the frustration, anxiety and physical pain endured. ... show more
