Impressive product and awesome customer service from Lume Cube! One of my cubes is defective and won't charge. I called Lume Cube and they are handling the replacement of the defective cube with the hassle and no full return thru Amazon. The light that does work is incredibly bright!     • You might want to think about it.
I think the product is too much for what it is. Especially if you want to get creative using the small lighting colored filters. The mount for the mavic 2 zoom is ok. Kind of sketchy but ok it works. I'd be more happy with them on an inspire or so but the mavic 2 is all I have. They also usually overheat about 20 min on full blast so if your using them for aerial photos like me get up and go quick! ... show more

Love the lume cube kit... work great..the light are outstanding.. The lume cube is a great light.. work great all for all lighting need,use mine at a outdoor party the people was crazy about them. Not only for lighting.I use them to put a light show on.. Thanks Lume Cube.

    • Best designed lighting solution for Aerial photography!
A great product! So many different uses other than drone lighting. If you do Any type of photography, you should definitely add this to your equipment list.... The only downside is the reduction of flight time, due to weight! You will lose about a third of your time in the air.

    • Excellent Customer Service
We received the lighting kit and installed it on our new drone. Little did we know, we failed to get the clips out of the packaging to secure the mounts to the drone. On our first night flight, one of the mounts broke loose which broke a propeller on the drone causing it to crash. Needless to say, Lume Cube was very helpful in getting new mounts sent to us right away, even though this was clearly caused by our oversight. They were very easy to communicate with via email and offered very good customer service given the circumstances. We are looking forward to getting our new mounts installed on the drone and securing them properly to avoid another incident. Thank you Austin for taking such good care of us!     • Great lights with one issue.
These lights are amazing, and supper bright. The only issue I have run into is that the quarter twenty screw that mounts the lights to the brackets comes loose causing the lights to flop around. I fixed this by popping off the plastic cover that covers the head of the screw. I then pressed the screw all the way into the housing, and using Gorilla Glue clear put a large drop on top of the screw head. The glue will self level and once left for 24 hours makes the screws very solid. ... show more

    • Pretty Package Crappy Hardware
I was so excited when the package was delivered and when I opened it up I was even more thrilled about the awesome kit case and how everything was packaged so nicely. As I eagerly set out to assemble the mounting brackets on my drone I noticed the mounting screw that interfaces with the lume cube and the mount was wobbly an unable when secured and the cube had a tremendous amount of shakiness and instability. I tried several different ways to sidestep the issue and thought maybe it was just that one mount but it wasn’t. Both screws had the same issue. I went back to the reviews and saw another gentleman had the same issue and I believe used some nuts to secure it in a video he posted. I tried the nut solutions but that left the cube with little threads for me to feel it would be secure during flight. I tried to contact the company by both email and telephone hoping they had a fix. I received no response to my email and the phone lines are a complete loop of wasted time that leads you to a dead end of full voicemails that won’t let you leave a message. I’m not an engineer but it seems to me this is an easy fix. I ended up returning the product for fear of damaging my drone or something worse. Drones have enough risks and you don't need a lighting system that adds to it. ... show more

These things are fantastic! They do add quite a bit of weight to the drone which cuts down on the drone battery life but... hey... thats what extra batteries are for right? I own a farm and use the drone and lume cubes to Soot and chase off the coyotes. Works!!! With both lights on full, i can see the ground from 100’ up! Highly recommend these if you want to fly at night. ... show more
