I got the black one with the silver writing and honestly, it looks really nice! I do a lot with my hands and wear it constantly, so it's gotten scratched and banged up, but overall it's sturdy and doesn't even show the scratches that much. It goes in the shower with me as well and I do dishes with it on, survives the water perfectly. Now I will say know your ring size before you get it. Mine came in a bit bigger than originally intended, but it works since my fingers shrink and swell at random (dry skin, cleaning, working out so blood pumping through, etc). Was too big for my ring finger, but fits nicely on the pointer one. I do recommend this product, but if you're looking for a thicker, more "manly" ring, it might not be for you. The ring itself is fairly thin, I'd say average women ring width, but it's not a thick band like you see on most men's. This is actually a very nice ring, especially for the price. I got the silver one. I can see the writing just fine. I didn’t expect it to really stand out. My ring is too big for pretty much all of my fingers but that is my fault for ordering the wrong size so I’ll order another one. The ring itself is very smooth and comfortable and not cheap looking at all. It’s not super shiny and bright like fake costume jewelry tends to be. It’s very comfortable on my finger. It also feels very sturdy. It hasn’t turned my fingers green but I’m usually gentle with my jewelry, even my cheap jewelry. I don’t shower with it, I keep it dry and keep lotion off it, etc. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and think it’s a great value if you love the message. I do! I work in an HR setting and am happy it's not as visible, but it only looks like a plain silver band and that's a tad disappointing since I wear it everyday. Don't expect the letter to stay black... but they don't disappear like others claim. What they did was LIGHTLY engraved it... so it's reallllly hard to see unless you catch it in the light. I wanted it like that though . One side wasn't polished right, instead of being perfectly rounded it has one spot that has a bit of flatness, like they held the sander belt too long there or something. I still love it. It's comfy and fits correctly. It hasn't been at all but has a few fine scratches after being worn for a month. ... show more
