I bought a recliner with the best lumbar support I could find, but it's not enough. I also discovered it's inflated by a motor, and quickly returns to deflated. Unlike my car's lumbar setting, where it stays permanently where I set it. I've tried other lumbar supports, but been disappointed. This one has worked quite well. The only drawback for me is that it's not wide enough to stay centered in a recliner. (None are.) But other than that, I'm quite pleased. At first, it seemed to not push into my back at quite the right spot. But after a few days, I'm amazed how well it works. As I said, my only complaint, if you can call it that, is that it's not wide enough to stay permanently in the center of a recliner. Not a big issue, really. The recliner I selected is as narrow and firm as possible, to give maximum support. I rarely recline in it, though. I bought it because it fit me well and seemed to give the best support. Most recliners tend to be wide and mushy. Lazyboy is a good example of that.

I used the cushion on a 2 hour trip - one way - and the return trip. The support was great, not too soft which has been the issue with other cushions. I have diagnosed severe lumbar arthritis and this cushion helped tremendously. Too bad it couldn’t help my knees!

This provided no relief to me. All it did was push me upwards, it didn’t make sitting in my uncomfortable office chair anymore comfortable. But from other reviews many people say it worked for them. Maybe it did. But for me, no luck.
