I have to start by commenting on the negative reviews. None where about the hold, the grip on.the vent. It always the charging. Ok. Look you are going to be very limited with car charging unless you install supplementary power and an inverter. If you need ultra fast charging that bad invest in a decent battery bank and move on, Geeze. Ok very happy. Mounted nicely to my vent. Magnet holds great even thru my case. Respectable charging. I don’t expect a full charge in a 30 minute drive while also using sometimes multiple apps such as maps and music. But the phone charges, doesn’t require a cord or clunky grip. The magnet holds well but also releases without a fight. Only minor gripe, aside from the people with unrealistic charging expectations is the fixed cable. This wireless charger is so impressive. It holds my heavy iPhone 14 Pro Max with no issues at all. I love that it charges while it securely holds your phone in place. I used to put my iPhone in my lap while I was driving and that was not safe when I needed to see directions. This completely solved that problem. The only down side is that it did break my little switch that moves the air blade from left to right...my boyfriend has this Belkin as well and he said it did the same to his car. But we both feel the positives about this gadget outweigh that one issue. I love it! ... show more

This is my second one of these - I got one for both my wife and myself. We love them. Super convenient, easy to remove phone when you want to, but keeps it rock solid otherwise. Having the charge wirelessly is great. Solid clips for the air vents. Well built product.

Its easy to install set it and forget it.. The only thing is my vents are horizontal and sometimes it pushes down on the vent, keep in mind I have the IPhone 14 pro max with a rebel case which makes it on the heavier side but with some finessing and some adjustments I came with a solution that fixed the problem..On a more positive note the magnet is very strong and my phone has never fallen off The mount is more likely to fly off the vent, don’t worry this is very unlikely to happen unless you jump off a cliff or something.. and your phone will probably still be attached to the mount.. ... show more

Love it!!! Holds my large Apple cell! I can turn it any direction! Its secure which is so important. Doesn’t fall on the ground! I’ve owned 10 car charger/ holder. Only one other is as good as this one! Definitely try it! Oh we own 2.i can read wil my husband is driving.

Let me start with the good. The charger has a great, strong clip for your vents, and has a good magnet, my phone (it is an iphone mini, so not as heavy as some of the others) has never fallen off even on very bumpy roads. Now the bad. It charges fine if the phone is not in use, but on a sunny day (phone brightness is high) while using GPS for navigation the battery just keeps draining more slowly than usual despite being on the charger. Given that this is supposedly the most powerful of the magsafe car chargers and costs about $100, it is not worth it. Just buy a simple magsafe vent holder and plug your phone in separately, unless you don't plan to use navigation while having the phone plugged in. Now, in case people don't believe that I was using it correctly. This was on a cold winter day, but I did not have the car heat on the phone, so the phone was a very comfy temperature. Also, I have a very powerful Anker car charger that I plugged this charger into. It is capable of outputting 9V at 3A, which is more than this charger can accept (9V at 2.22A), so that wasn't the issue either. ... show more

It’s expensive but it’s the only MagSafe certified car mount you can get. It’s very high quality and does not come off once it’s been attached to a vent. I used it for a road trip to get from Alaska to the East coast in 12 days. In that time we subjected it to some pretty extreme potholes and gravel roads in the Canadian wilderness. My phone definitely fell off a couple times even when I took off my case to give it better contact with the magnet, but that was from some massive potholes and stuff on the Alcan.
